In fact, I believe that Nickelback is a complete ripoff of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band: same style of music, same things sung about in the lyrics (go check out Against the Wind or Roll Me Away), etc. However, I do like these lyrics and find that I am moved every time I read them. They have been doing well this year and every time I watch them or listen to this song, I start to cry. It was so perfectly placed, I started crying my head off right there in the hall. This song has so much meaning for me.
