------ performed by Natalie Merchant
Thank you, Natalie Merchant, for this enchanting song | Reviewer: Kelly Arbor | 6/1/07
I will never forget seeing Natalie Merchant perform this song years ago at the A&B Amphitheatre on Maui. A light tropical rain began, and the sideways wind blowing onto the stage had the grand piano getting a light sprinkle. Without missing a beat, she found a rag and danced around the piano, drying the instrument as she swayed her hips and sang.
Natalie, I want to thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, for the kindness and generosity of spirit you showed. And what a wonderful song - everytime I hear it I say my silent prayer of thanks to all the benefactors in my life.

I had been looking for this song for years!! | Reviewer: Cynthia | 5/17/07
Many years ago I had known of a young lady named Atna Whiteside who had to have a heart lung transplant. Well she didn't make it her body soon rejected her new organs. At her funeral this song was plaid and I will always remember this as her song. I still cry when I hear it.
