To deny that there weren't any empires and universities in Africa is to be ignorant of not only history, but logic. I mean, the world DID originate in the southern hemisphere (it was WARMER there, so life flourished), and IF the claim that man didn't start off in South America as well (which I think the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas pretty much prove that they didn't exactly trek from Africa, Asia and Russia, cross a land bridge into North America and FINALLY voyage down to South America in time to settle down and create empires just like that..), which is kinda silly, well there was still the fact that Asians and Europeans originated in Africa, and to think that THEY were able to beat out a settled Africa in building empires is outright proposterous! My point is that, yes, Africa had empires, kings and queens as well as universities, books and teachers. But, I guarantee you that most of the people who came from Africa and still live there most likely have blood of non-ruling class ancestry (remember, EVERY empire has TONS of slaves and peasants). I do agree with NAS, that in times about 2000 years ago, the highest evolved civilisations have been in this areas: The meditaranian sea, north Africa and probably also other parts of Africa, China, India ... and of course not up here in cold Europe or even North America. And it is true that the Romans learned from the Egyptians. And those have been black. It is interesting to hear, that Alexander the great destroyed the nose of the Sphinx, because it looked like a black persons nose, which would proove, that the Egyptians were people with black skin. I also imagine, that our beloved Jesus, who was a Jew and lived in this area (Palestine) must have had quite a dark tan, of course. I'm shure that nobody will read, what i just wrote, but no matter.
