The Reviews about I Can (page 2/ 3)
------ performed by Nas

I love this song, and I also disagree with Mikey. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/7/07

Hey! I love this song.
Mikey, I think you should take a history class or pick up a book on the kingdom of Mali, or Kush? you could even look them up online. Look up some of the things Nas mentions in the songs, or take a class on the ancient world, and you'll see that he's right. I would keep going, but I'm actually at work [I'm a young black woman, who works at an Ivy league university, and I have extensive experience researching history]

I'd look up a couple for you, but I'm pretty busy.

Take care.

Director Sports/Mentoring I CAN | Reviewer: daniel Moshe johnson | 11/9/07

Great song, took a while for it to sink in, but it happens to be the name of an NGO- that I work for in Toronto, positive youth empowerment. I'am originally from New Orleans, but I reside in Toronto. I'am also a resident of Israel. I work with inner city youth, we hope to have Nas come to our program, and rap this song. It is important, Toronto now is in the game of gangs, it has to be explained to new recruits and future members, it is a competitive road; they are many gangs in our world, that live and thrive, and the biggest, had adapted the costume to hide. So we mentor youth upon image, and image projection, and true purpose, and overall final destination for all humanity.

Lies | Reviewer: mikey | 10/30/07

LOL i like this song, but the lyrics are so fake, well more specifically the verse about blacks taught romans and shit, what a load of crap. I mean yes, better yourself, be the best you can, but lets not lie and pretend you were once kings, teachers... Thats just not funny, correct or cool.
