I am a new fan but ever sence i heard one of there songs i loved it.i think there best is hang em high i just got there new cd i love it.

i completely agree with the person who posted i think 2 reviews down from this, it was titled "=D". 100% i totally agree with your thoughts, about people saying they are bigger fans cuz they liked them when their first cd came out and stuff, really great review. i have posted here a few times and i have liked mcr i think since about helena came out(a lot of people started at this point i think) and have been my favorite band ever since, i just bought their new cd the black parade and i am yet again amazed at their extent of their talent. i hope these guys don't ever stop, they are a really great band

if MCR didnt exist i'd probly be dead,i want to kill mi self now bt i cant coz MCR exist.wen i first heard them i lyked them coz there music was ok and i thought they were hot bt im past that now i still think there hot bt now i dont listen to them i listen to there music i probly make no sense bt o well ill try to explain, at first i just liked there music and i thought they were hot but a few months ago i waz lisening to "okay(i promise)" and i waz singing to miself wen i relised i had said those words (im not okay) to myself b4 wen i had not bin lisenin to them and i wanted to kill miself so i started listening to the words of their songs instead of listening to them my favourite iz "welcome to the black parade"coz wen it says "will u b the savior of the broken etc."i am the broken coz mi spirit haz no more will to liv and they are my savior coz they make me want to live a minute longer and wen it says "im just a boy whos ment to sing this song"it makes me want to liv mi full lyf so i can sing the songs i write to the world and save it i dont really no wat else to say bt, MCR you saved mi lyf and you still are saveing it

They have actually saved my life in so many ways, it's hard to describe it; I don't think I'd be as happy as I am now without them and their beautiful music.

Yes, I first started out only hearing the mainstream songs (which I soon realized was not their best work) like I'm Not Okay, Helena & Ghost of You.

But once you delve deeper, buy their three albums (Life on the Murder Scene, I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love & Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge) you realize how much better they can do.

But honestly, I am sick of those who only like them for their looks.
I am not saying that none of them are cute, or as many of you say "HOT" but I am saying that you should pay more attention to the music.
Gerard Way, Frank Iero && Mikey seem to be the main teen pin-ups at the moment; and I do have a small thing for Frank, but it's tiny compared how much I love their music.
And a piece of information for you all out there; I'm not denying that you could meet them (quite the contrary, I've met them at one of their concerts and they are the nicest guys ever) but for them to fall in love with you when they've pretty much all got girlfriends, is slim to none.

Again, I'm not saying that you shouldn't think they're cute; but please, pay attention to the music.

And also, those who go 'OMGZZ I LIKED MCR BEFORE YOU BECAUSE I HEARD OF THEIR OLD ALBUM' please, get an effin' life.
There's more to being a fan than liking them since they first came out; if you're a fan, you listen to their music, you believe in them, don't let anyone contradict your view's on them and don't go around saying you're a better fan than anyone else because you liked them before someone.
It doesn't make you a better fan, in fact; it proves that you don't believe in what ANY of the My Chemical Romance members say...
For example...

"They just treat people how they should be treated, and they always let people feel happy around them," <--- Frank Iero, on the subject of touring with Green Day.

"I love our fans. They're in our bloodstream, whether they're only just finding out about us or have been there since the beginning, you're all our fan," <--- Gerard Way, interview.

But this band will save your life; or at least, make it better =]

I think that MCR {whoever reading this and does not know this acronym shouldn't be here} is a great band. They play the crap out of the drums, guitar, bass and Gerard Way is a great vocalist. But really, they can't do a great portrayal of someone in a gun fight, at war or even in prison because they have never come across it. Writing what YOU KNOW is a big part of writing. As for their looks... everyone who says "Oh, well MCR could be butt ugly and I'd still like them just the same!". Well, unless you are seriously eyesight impaired, thats not true. Self and band image is such a huge part of the music these days, it's impossible to not look at that little fold in the alboum cover and look at what they're wearing. Some people call them 'dark' or 'emo', and if they were wearing baby blue and pink, they wouldn't be as hardcore to you, now would they be. Nontheless, MCR is incredibly clever and I wish them the best of luck with their future music. I feel this is my time to 'Hang 'Em High'.

Ok ok ok, The first MCR song I heard was Helena . . . There I said it!
But after that I looked for their songs and fell in love with each and every one of them (songs not band members!!lol). Yes MCr are hot but I honestly wouldn't care if they were all ugly. It's the music that they make that I am in love with, not Gerard, Mikey, Ray(has hair like mine lol, Bob or Frank even though they are all amazing people and I think they deserve more respect for their talents not just their looks. Their songs really have saved my life, befor MCR I felt a bit down, but i popped in their CD and omg, i was transformed by their songs!!

MCR is my second fave band- they come in right after Evanescence. The music rocks, and Gerard Way is H-O-T!!! My fave song is "To the End". But I don't agree with "Vampires Will Never Hurt You". Actually, I believe there are evil psychic vampires out to kill us. Just sayin...enjoy your MCR.

I adore MCR and not only that, I've never fell in love in a song from firs listening but when I came across The Ghost Of You I was stuned:) To The End is also something I'll never forget; I hope MCR will soon release a new album or a new single at least...whoever told they are not worthy is probably deaf:)))

Okay so MCR is the best band in the world, and its not because of their looks they really have great music. They put their hearts into writting and singing them. Gerard has great vocals and the instruments are really good too. I'm pretty sure the band doesnt care about the way they look, they care about the music and the people they are able to help with it. Both of their CDs are really good, they have good meaningful lyrics that are open to interpretation. My favorite songs include: Headfirst For Halos, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Demolition lovers, You know ... in prison, Thank you for the Venom, I never told you what i do for a livin, basically I love all their songs. I think you should really check them out. And for all those people that just like them because of their looks, you should really pay more attention to their music. I really think that they would appreciate it more.

I think the band probably had a rough beginning. Back in 2002, I remember I went to a CD store and asked about their first CD and the guy said that I shouldn't purchase it since not many people were interested in MCR's music. To me, that's not true I actually believed they could come up with a better CD even though I did like the song Gerard and Mike made (actually I liked the whole CD). A lot of people are just interested in the band because they "love" Gerard and think he's all hott..but that's not what their band's about! My favorite song would be Prison. Jetset and Venom are my second and third favorites :D MCR are just getting a little carried away in the fame..a little...but who wouldn't? -.-

I remember hearing Frank say "This is a band to save your life". They might not have saved mine but they've made it a hell of a lot better. When I'm pissed off I put one of their albums on and I feel better almost instantly. The albums my audio-bibleand I can't wait for the DVD to come out, I'm gonna be glued to my TV for years!I love the remix of "To the End", infact I'm listening to it now, if you wanna hear it, got to www.music.aol.com/mychemicalromance and go to Song: 'To the End' (Rnr Cheryl Mix)... OMG I love My Chemical Romance! Gerard,Mikey,Frank,Bob,and Ray RULE!!! My favourite songs are 'you know what they do to guys like us in prison', 'helena' and 'thank you for the venom'. Gerard is so hot too! I can't wait to get their new CD! rock on!!

I love My Chemical Romance sooooooooooo much. Thank you so much Gerard, mikey, Bob, Frank, and of course Ray. WHERE THE HECK CAN YOU SEE VAMPIRES WILL NEVER HURT YOU VIDEO WHEN YOU LIVE IN ENGLAND?????????????????????? Anyways, My favourites are I never told you what I did for a living, and Vampires will never hurt you. Again I thank My Chemical Romance for being such a brilliant band and influence (Gerard gave up drinking!) to so many people. You should be more popular than Green Day, but I only say that because I like the stuff they did when they were less famous. GREEN DAY SUCK! MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE DO NOT!

ever since I bought the CD and concert I loved them!! they're probably the best band live! they sound better live then on the CD! and they sound great on the CD! so I reccomend you go to a concert of theirs! they're spectacular and I love them! they are also very good looking!!
I love their music and they're currently my favorite band, other then Fall Out Boy!

I love both MCR and The Used. When I first heard MCR Revenge I immediately bought the CD, then I downloaded their first album, and listened to them, I loved it. Their music is wonderful and full of emotion. They have put all their effort into music, not their looks. The music came straight from their hearts, not their looks. Looks don't matter people, remember it's what comes from the heart so you can stop swooning over who is hot or not.

If you love listening to MCR I recommend you to listen for The Used.
