He continuely criticises them without even listenin to the music, i tried to convice him they were more than a 'Moany, pishy emo pile of shit.' However he fails to believe anything more than he reads on the internet when looking up the bands that he loves oh so freakin much, claiming that they would never moan like MCR. This makes me wonder, do people even LISTEN to lyrics anymore? His favourite band is Green Day, and he claims my chem moan? Then there's Velvet Revolver, ok just because they cover it with hard rock riffs doesn't mean their singing about candy floss and teddy bears. (I'm not slagging these bands FYI i actually like them and i'm listenin to Green Day right now lol) I wonder when people stopped really listening to music and just started searching for something that they can simply bop along to in their car rather than something with actual meaning. Without lyrics songs are just senseless jingles. People (especially my brother and his little cronies) need to really understand that theirs more to music that a catchy tune. Love and Sucide | Reviewer: Pres_Of_Not_Ok | 7/15/08 Heya...I was introduced to these guys by my friends, Maz,Mycoto, and Yomi. The first song I heard was HELENA. And I loved them. Every song there is I've heard it. Before and after Helena, I wasn't diagnosed with depression, but it felt like every day was more crappy than the last. I remember going to bed at night, crying for no reason at all...just crying that I'm not perfect enough, not pretty enough, and not smart enough to fit my parents standards. Then[after the 9 millionth time I listened to Black Parade] something inpired me to write my own songs. The guys in MCR wont read this, but thanks to them I still have my insanity. Peace.
