Yes,i know EVERYONE is just dyeing to read another comment on how MCR saved our lives, but screw it. Before i first heard their music,i thought they where some dumb emo band that my friend loved telling me about.I always hated my life, never getting along with anyone i knew, always an outcast with some other of my friends. I heard my first song by them a year ago(2007) and it was either Teenagers or Welcome To The Black Parade, im not quite sure, but i ended up listening to it and liked them even more, which led me finding their CD (The Black Parade) in a Target store, and buying it. I could never put the CD away after i first heard it all,in the shower-MCR,in my room-MCR,etc. The whole year of 6t grade,on the bus after school i would listen to ....My Chemical Romance. i liked how much i related to most of the songs they have written over the years (as Gerard says: this is a band most kids can relate to)and seeing that they also had "problems?" as kids and that i wasnt alone. But one day i come into school and my friend (not saying names) had cuts across their wrists.I was disappointed, sad, confused, angry, and some other emotions that are to long to explain.I asked them why they had done this, and they said because they were angry.I swear i was about to cry.I have heard of troubled teens doing this, but i have never seen it from my friends.I was scared they were going to do it again, but i didnt say anything.MCR has made a positive change in my life, and im really happy with my choice of them.im actually listening to them as im writing this!i hope they live on forever, hold up there little buddies.

Just a statement... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/10/08

For the person who said their first cd didn't deal with such things, it did. "I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love" was full of songs dealing with suicide, and all of them WERE infact against it. If you still don't beleive me, listen to "Drowning Lessons" or "Headfirst for Halos".

About something... | Reviewer: CrimsonRegret | 7/7/08

I love MCR, and i probably will for the rest of my life. I know many people say this, but i truly believe that they have saved my life. When i was in junior high, i used to get made fun of mecilessly, and i though seriously of suicide, though my friend would plead and plead with my not to. He gave me MCR's first album, and told me to just think about it, and talk to him the next day with my decision. I listened to the whole cd 7 times that night. and the next day went to school and honestlyhave never thought about suicide since. Though nothing in the songs in and of themselves deal with suck things, i guess it was just the way they said what they thought, and put thier emotions and heart into the music...and didnt care what people said about it. And the next day when i dug more into the actual story behind mcr, and gerard's past and such, it emboldend me to not put so much merit in what people think, and your dreams are yours to do with what you wish. though they will never read this, i just wanted to write it out, that I am just one of the many lives that mcr has saved, and i cant thank them enough for purposing to be ABOUT something, not just out there for the money and fame. But to make a difference in this world. MCR, I thank you

Who really cares? | Reviewer: DarkLittleMaiden | 7/2/08

Why is it that who you are is determined by your music tastes? Im nearly 25 and I like MCR I dont give a shit what the kids are doing these days. Who care if MCR ARE Emo? What the fuck is Emo anyway but a label? Life is all labels. I listen to just about anything but I dont label myself, Im just a one person in a billion, some days I wear black, somedays I wear pink, I hate cabbage, I love chocolate wtf does it matter??!? MCR didnt save my life, MCR didnt make me want to slit my wrists or win me friends. They just play good music. They're doing what they love and I love listening to them. When is everyone going to see its no more simple then that?? Simple logic, the best kind.

MCR will live on forever | Reviewer: Shelby | 7/5/08

No matter how much people hate them...I will always love them to death.Their music is very meaningful and emotional.I can't help but love them.Sure, their music music seems all suicidal but they aren't.They are 100% against suicide and violence. They don't cut themselves and just because Gerard kissed a guy and liked it,doesn't mean you should hate him.Almost all of my friends loved them and then when they found out about the whole Frank/Gerard thing, they hated them.I would never do that.No matter what they do or what people say about them,I will for always and forever love them.Call me what you want, but I am a proud MCR fan....

Not that good as it used to be.. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/14/08

I remember listening to MCR, when I was 12. I am now 16, and currently listen to metal, jazz, classic rock, blues, anything really. No longer is MCR so meaningful to me. Sorry to the fans, but this music not emotional. It tries to bring it, but it's not doing it for me. Blues music (yes sung by the black man) shows you how depressing it can be working in the fields, but it shows you that something is there for you if you try.MCR, is just really full of angst, that angst that runs through the blood of teens, and it appeals to teens really, but MCR aren't a band I can enjoy anymore such as Outkast. Listening to Jazzy Belle or Git up Git Out, I get more motivated.

A Girl Who Was Saved By MCR | Reviewer: RioAnn | 4/8/08

This is one of my favs, of any artist. Emos don't always cut. Anyone who thinks emos are suicidal and should go die are the idiots who actually deserve such treatment. Anyone who doesn't have the guts to be different is just some little coward sitting behind a computer screen. Ooh, I'm sooo afraid of your PIXELS that you have so (un)kindly tiped, I'm shaking in my office chair. Get over it. Emo is not just some fad that's gonna go away, I wont let it die away until you pry my eyeliner from my dead, cold, eyelids.

True MCR fans | Reviewer: I LOVE MCR!!! | 4/2/08

first i have to say i love this song!!!! its probably one of thier best ones. you have a lot of people saying they're mcr fans but 95% of the time they only know songs like teenagers or welcome to the black parade. true fans of mcr know the year they started the band, all the album names, most of there song names and a whole bunch of other things. i am obsessed with this band and i know pretty much everything about them so you can test me if you want just email me at ilovebrett4ever@mail2zenith or darkvampire@mail2liquid

The best | Reviewer: Sadie LaStrange | 3/27/08

You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison is the best My Chemical Romance song to date, I love the mix of the guitars and Gerards voice which is a perfect combination of Demonic and Angelic, This is my favorite song yet, anyone who wants to waste they're time bashing it to a fight can come see me and we'll meet in the graveyard and I'll show them things that they won't put in the most demented of "Horror" flicks.

With Love for Hate,
Sadie LaStrange
P.S. Revenge is best served with a gallon of blood.
