I dont have a family member in the war, but this song really touches me. It's depicting everything anyone has ever felt when someone in their family that went to war and died. This is a great song for anyone who hasn't heard it yet.

This song makes me almost cry every time I hear it. Gerard sings it with so much passion... and it is just so beautiful. This whole album is awesome, especially Helena, but this song is the best, and it stands out.

this song makes me really sad cuz when i got hooked on this band i was in my homestate for a funeral....... my grandmas whom id pretty much been living with the 1st 9yrs of my life....... :( but it wuz hard to get through but i did it..... if any of you think about suicide email me and i WILL help you through it....... life iz to great to give up, trust me...... ^,.......,^ =] get better.....

i agree with that sunny person. MCR in my opinion, was way better during the i brought you my bullets you brought me your love period than in any others. there was that great almost hardcore element thrown into the mix that just made the band's style really unique.

i've thought of suicide and i'm only 13 years old but i realized that this life god gave us is to prescious to waist it and all the bad moments, the bad feelings, well, they'll go away and that tomorrow is always a new day. besides i wouldn't want to be the cause of my family's suffering. i don't have a lot of life experience, i'm extremely young, but i know one thing for certain. DON'T suicide. ask for help, speake to someone, i don't know, what ever helps you, but don't suicide.

I love this song so much :( Always makes me cry though, i played it not knowing that 5 minutes later i'd see my grandma for the last ever time, she was the only one that ever understood who i was or what i wanted to be :(

Helena was the song for Gerard's and Mikey's grandmother Elena. And this song is sooo sad and if any of you feel depressed and wan't to commit suicide i do not promote this. Please talk to somebody or me or what ever before you do anything silly as i have been in this position myself.

this song reminds me so much of my brother that i cry over it.. my brother is going to war in Iraq in December and i can picture him in this position ( as mikey in the video ).. matter of fact im crying this moment.. i just listened to it.
when i die, this is going to be my funeral song weather my dad hates this band/song or not. screw him!!
