MCR RULES they are the best but you missed the beginning lyrics idiot how could you its like this..........
The amount of pills I'm taking, counteracts the booze I'm drinking
and this vanity I'm breaking, lets me live my life like this
and well I find it hard to stay, with the words you say
Oh baby let me in
Oh baby let me in
Well I'll choose the life I've taken, never mind the friends I'm making
and the beauty that I'm faking lets me live my life like this
you're missing all of that dude
Awesome song | Reviewer: Stacey | 10/7/08
This is just... breath taking, can you say that?
Yea I think you can, it's just amazing!
Erm, someone said Gerard suffered depression but didn't know why, I believe it was because of the 9/11 with what he saw, and the whole realisation that this is it, y'know? That this is life and it's not gonna last forever and the fact it's such a fragile thing we take advantage of.
So yea, I think that's kinda why, I think coming to that realisation would plunge you into depression if you wasn't ready for it.
love mcr forever | Reviewer: Anonymous also | 2/17/08
I totally agree with Tegan's review, I never thought about the song like that. Anyways, I thought Gerard Way was an alcoholic and a pill popper, abuser or something like that. I'm not sure though, so many rumors makes it hard to know the truth. Also he suffered from depression, but don't know reason. Do you?
Wonderful meaning, and great beats | Reviewer: n | 12/30/07
I honestly love this song. The guitar riffs, and the beats sent out by Matt (at the time) are amazing. Gerard's vocals are wonderful, and the concept is deep. This song makes you want to turn it up loud, but then think about it afterward.
addiction. | Reviewer: nadeera | 11/23/07
MCR is officially one of those bands who write such powerful lyrics and for Gerard to sing it. damn, they t0tally raise the goosbumps and skeletons in my closet. I can't live a day without listening to their music. They're so raw. Not many bands are raw and I respect them for it. They brought the real me out. Without them, I'd probably already threw myself off a building.
MY FAVE SONG EVER | Reviewer: KIRSTY | 11/10/07
I DO BELIEVE THIS WAS WRITTEN ABOUT A WHORE, WELL SO GERARD SAYS, ITS ABOUT ONE OF MIKEYS EX'S SO IVE HEARD. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS ABOUT GERARD DRINKING AND A BAD RELATIONSHIP HE WAS IN BUT IT SEEMS I WAS WRONG LOL
THIS IS THE BEST MCR SONG EVER I THINK, ALSO BULLETS IS THE BEST ALBUM TOO, DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE THE OTHER TWO BUT THIS ONE IS MUCH BETTER

I LOVE this song, I love Gerard Way's voice anyway, but it's just a little different in this one, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE, it!! He's so hot! I can't stop listening to him!
perfection | Reviewer: jaci | 4/3/07
no band can meet MCR's unbeatable music. this song pretty much got me into the band as it describes everything they would like to get across. This song also is the song that got me obsessed with MCR - yes, obsessed. No other band can be described as perfect the way that My Chemical Romance are.
wow | Reviewer: Tegan | 12/15/05
I felt I owed it to My Chemical Romance to write a review on one of their songs, because their music is such an inspiration to me. 'This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us' was the first song I heard from 'I Brought You MY Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love', and is one of my favourites.
At first, the song may seem to be about a rocky relationship that's working out, but what it really is about (in my opinion) is Gerard Way's alcoholism and cocaine addiction ('The amount of pills I'm taking counteracts the booze I'm drinking'), how it's affecting the band ('And you can't touch my brother and you can't keep my friends'), and how he realizes that he has to give it up ('And it's hard to say I'm shaken, by the choices that I make / And well I find it hard to stay, with the words you say'). Gerard sings the song with such passion that it raises goosebumps. And when you pair the thought-provoking lyrics and passionate singing of 'Honey, This Mirror...' with its great music (with awesome guitar riffs, courtesy of Ray Toro) you have an absolute winner.
