A few (australian) friends of mine have just signed up to the army so they can fight a war to which there is no point or reason - especially because Australia shouldnt be involved at all. The lyrics are good, but as soon as you think of the song and it's context to the american president it becomes a little outrageous. I do not agree with it in that context. Sure, they're general enough they could be speaking of any number of leaders, or to a general principle even, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think the U.S. President George W. Bush was at least a partial inspiration for the song. That being said, it's quite a twisted view of the world compared to the news we see everyday of terrorists killing innocents, and fueling the flames of war while striving for their backwards, facist, religious regimes. But Bush should burn in hell, why? For trying to fight and stop these bastards? The really scary thing is not when a musical group thinks this way and sings songs about it, but rather when those in power think this way, and lead us to destruction.
