However, it annoys me to NO end when people give something or someone credit where in this case it is due to something entirely different. Im suprised Muse was good enough to let them use the song. And yes, I know it was awesome in the baseball scene. I thought so too. But every time I look up a video or the lyrics for this song, almost every comment says: "WOO HOO! I LUV TWILIGHT!" And in my brain,I shout: "WOO HOO! I LUV MUSE!" And ten seconds later I shout: "WOO HOO! I LUV TWILIGHT!" So don't take this as an insult. I'm a total twilight lover. I listened to a lot of their songs and have liked how they're not all the same with different words unlike a lot of other bands... BTW! I didn't even want to see the movie twilight because it ruins your perspective and opinions you had before they told you what it should look like. It's too commercial. All the Twilighters make Muse look so...commercial. In fact, though. They're such an original band in every aspect of their music. Now, I discovered Muse via Stephenie Meyer. I believe it was a few years ago, when the first Twilight book came out. Girlfriend made me read it, and I actually found it pretty good. Looked through Meyer's "special thanks" list, and there they were. I'm a musician, primarily a drummer and bassist; so, I instantly fell in love with the licks and rolls. HAARP was a friggin' masterpiece. I know how you feel, cos I am a fanatic over Chevelle. I am a Chevellian, so I get a little put off by know-nothings who spout nonsense regarding my band, Chevelle. Anyway, I absolutely love Supermassive Black Hole.... both versions. I also adore their song, "Unintended". My daughter plays Muse alot, and I picked them up from her, although she isn't overly fond of Supermassive Black Hole. I asked her if she is crazy. I play it in any case. I want to delve into Muse some more. Any suggestions? If you Muse fans have 2 or 3 songs to suggest, that'd be fine. I like, "Starlight", too.
