First of all, think about their name..MUSE. They get inspiration from other peoples work. In one of their songs, they take a bit from Rhapsody in Blue. It's not like they are copying, but incorporating different ideas into their music. They get musical inspiration from it. So if some music sounds a bit like Britney's background music...I wouldn't put it past them. I'm not degrading them. I love MUSE and went to one of their shows. They are hardcore and their music is worth listening to and appreciating. If you don't like it, don't post stupid shit degrading other people and their views. Kindly state your opinion about the song and move on.

Have any of you guys actually listen to pop rock? It sounds like recycled trash, to me at least.
This song sounds nothing like it. It is one of my favorite songs in existence, and the first Muse song I've ever heard. Just go fuck yourself if you really think this is Britney Spears-esque...

whats absolutely friggin amazing about this whole album is that most people take alot of the songs to be love songs.. poppy.. or whatever.. but this one, like alot of them on this record are so crazy and conspiracy driven. they're about cutting the bull**** of appearance and questioning whats reaaallly goin on around us. and if you want to compare it to anything in the pop world.. just watch the video and see if they are trying to attract all of the bubblegum heads and teeny-boppers.. i'm pretty sure if any one of the aforementioned saw it, they'd suffer from night terrors for the next couple months. f***n love muse. all of it. from showbiz to this black holes. and i'm goin to see them at lolla this august!

I honestly just discovered Muse. My friend had me listen to a few of their songs and i really like them. This song does sound a bit like pop, but not too much, and a hell of a way from britney spears. I think it draws a bit from Techno as well. Which isn't bad. I really like this song and if you didn't, well there are plenty of other great songs by muse to listen to. So yeah, its really not worth fighting about.

How can you even compare Britney Spears with Muse?? What were you thinking?? I just cant understand it...Muse is a great band with every style! Now...it isnt pop, have you ever listened pop? It´s alternative and....just saying it´s MUSE it´s enough! When youve listened the diference between pop and alternative then youll write logical comentaries!

I stole a burned Muse CD from my friend since I liked what I heard in his car. So, from a perspective of a non-dedicated Muse fan, I liked this song. It's different from a lot of their other stuff, but can you really blame them for putting out a good, catchy song? I like everything they have. Love it, actually.

I would say, that the band tried to appeal to a different kind of audience, when they did this song.
It is much more easy-listenable than earlier Muse, and it defenitely was intented to be the single you hear and want to hear more. It obviously worked, since this was the first song I heard from Muse, and now I'm a huge fan.
Just waiting them to come to Finland some day..
