STOP WITH THE TWILIGHT | Reviewer: PARRIS | 1/5/09
Okay uhm to the person below me from California? I'm from California...was born and raised and there is a lot more music exposure out there than just "bubble pop shit". Listen to KROQ and be informed. Second of all I will have to agree with most people that Twilight was an awfully written book and the movie was more than lacking but it has nothing to do with Muse. When Supermassive Black Hole was put onto the Twilight soundtrack I was more than disappointed with the choice because Hysteria fit more in tune with the feel...anyways. If you found Muse through Twilight good for you. Just stop comparing everything in Twilight to Muse or any of the other artists. This band is beyond the likes of Twilight and should just be seen for what it is, an amazing song written by an amazing guy. I want this song to be played as my wedding song haha, I am so weird.

guess what twilight haters? i found muse THROUGH twilight, and it is now my favorite band. living in california, im not exposed to any music other than pop music shit, and for that im very thankful to stephenie meyer.
i agree that muse is far better than twilight and i also think that muse doesnt have anything to do with the story. BUT: 1)music cannot be compared to a book--u can listen to music over and over and not get tired of it (especially muse since they have like 80 songs or something), while u can only read a book so many times before u get sick of it. and 2)stephenie was inspired by muse; it doesnt mean she got ideas from music, she just loves muse like you or me.
have some respect people. just becuz u dont like the book doesnt mean u shud slam the author for having a similar interest in music.

There are a lot of Muse songs that sound as though they are written for a female, when in all reality, they are written about the things Matt is passionate about - space, politics and conspiracy theories. I believe this song is about ABSOLUTION. About all that the video is about. Matt is longing for absolution and unhappy about the wrongs that we have made.
Just as I believe that Unintended is about religion, rather than a lover.
God, stop it with the twilight stuff, i've had enough of it! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/21/08
the twilight bug bit you too many times... enough with the twilight shit... it sucks big time, and this has nothing to do with this great song... and totally agree that everyone is now crazy about "supermassive black hole" only cause it was featured in that crappy movie.. I hate it, and hate stephanie meyer... Muse is too good to be related to that bad movie, book or whatever you like about twilight...

All this talk of Twilight..come on. It is obvious that Muse did this way before and it is a beauitful song. I think it has many meanings for many different people. Those meanings hold more weight than any character from a book or moive, people are real characters are not.

The author was inspired by a dream she had, where Bella and Edward were in the meadow. Before you go about on your little, ignorant rants, get your facts straight, do some research, and know what you are talking about rather than assuming. It's dumb, idiotic, imbecilic, moronic, stupid, witless, foolish, senseless comments you make that irritate the piss out of me. PLEASE-- demonstrate to America that the younger generation has SOME knowledge: THINK before you stating your opinions.
Fuck Twilight | Reviewer: Tim | 12/15/08
Twilight was one of the worst books I have ever read in my life. I read the first one and wanted to shoot myself. No character development whatsoever, a shitty plot, and unconvincing characters. It was terrible. Thanks for mentioning that movie in relation to this song, you have now ruined for me.
No, I take that back, you can never ruin this song for me. This song is so incredibly amazing.
fuck no this song was not 'made about Edward' | Reviewer: Gregor | 12/11/08
Muse and Twilight should never be mentioned in the same sentence
Muse is soooo much better
and I'm pretty sure this song was written about something that Matthew Bellamy felt
if the WRITER of the book had to use a song to help think of the feelings a character was going through, than she's obviously not a good writer
and I hate how everybody suddenly like Supermassive Black Hole now that it was in Twilight
I mean, it was a song BEFORE the movie came out
yeah
that was my rant
I really hate Twilight
it's stupid
Great song...uhm,interesting? video =P | Reviewer: Muse Is LOVE | 12/1/08
I love this song, and it has a great meaning, but honestly..what does the video have to do with the song? Leave it to Matt to tie something space-like into one of his best masterpieces.:P
i see this song as someone asking their love for forgiveness after he's made some mistakes.even though he can't erase what he's done he's hoping that she can still forgive him anyway..love it!!
Meant for him | Reviewer: Izzy | 9/20/08
I've never seen the music video, but all I know is that Stephanie Meyer used this song when she was writing Edwards part in "New Moon" and it kind of suits him well. Actually, this song basically describes the way Edward feels for Bella. So to me it's like this song was made for him.
