It's about Show business (hence the title)and greed. But I think it can have its own meaning to everyone. This can be, and is, interpreted as another song about heartbreak. I interpreted it like that the first time I heard it. And though I know its "true" meaning, I've still come back to this song when I was feeling down about my romantic relationships.
