personally, this is my favourite track off of black holes and revelations, it's not necessarily better than knights of cydonia but i just love the sequencer effect matt uses and the vocal performance rivals that of starlight. the lyrics are really clever and the music compliments them. i also read on musewiki.org...
""Fear and panic in the air" may be a reference to Mars, in that the red planet's two moons are named Phobos and Deimos, who were the Greek gods of Fear and Panic. Such a connection would fit in with numerous references to Mars in the album." if this was what matt intended all i can say is bravo old chap. bravo.
i just love this song, matt has made something so musically simple into such an epic song its unreal. LOVE ITTTTT!!!!!

depeche mode, maybe. but i think muse just stands out on its own because it's so much more different than the other bands lately.. if you know what i mean -_-
