Why Muse is better than every other band | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/1/09
I'm pretty sure everyone who has had the chance to sit down and listen deeply to Muse lyrics and melodies has fallen in love with it and certainly appreciates its greatness. But I know a couple people who think they are great but can't quite put their finger on why. It's just amazing. While this is inevitably true, the big thing about Muse that most people don't catch is that every single member of the band is ACTUALLY TALENTED at what they do. The singer is extremely talented, the guitarist(s) are fucking amazing, the titles and lyrics are breath-taking and genius, the drummer must have a third arm because OMFMF (oh my fucking Morgan Freeman because Morgan Freeman = Godly), and the bass guitarist is completely out of anyone's league! The bass guitar has its own complicated baseline; it isn't just a simple two string strum to the same simple beat. If there was a ever a Battle of the Bands and Muse entered, I'm pretty sure we would all know who would win. And don't say Linkin Park, ugh... They're okay and all, catchy and what not but they are just lab rats compared to the mad genius scientists Muse.

matthew bellamy is a complete genius erik. muse is such an intelligent band in general. they actually know how to use "big" words. and every one of their songs is deep and makes you really think.
especially the ones where they were on shrooms when they made them hahahaha

..muse | Reviewer: evelyn may | 2/3/09
...i have listened to this song ever since my boyfriend introduced me to it...
and today , i feel like im losing him...
"everything i saw is been swept away"...like everything he told me is a lie...
the 2nd verse is pretty self explantiry...the lyrics "and when we bleed we bleed the same" are very real to me... i self harm and my he has taken to doing the same...it shows our influence on each other...and i also see it meaning that when he hurts me , he will only hurt him self...like if he is too hard on me,he will end up losing me and therefore only hurting himself...
idk...
beautiful song
Mind blowing <3 | Reviewer: Luisa | 1/27/09
God, i love this song. He puts so much emotion and passion in his expression of his lyrics. When i saw this song played live in sedona, arizona it left me utterly speechless. A beautiful piece of music, and i absolutely love it to death!
Beautiful!!!... | Reviewer: Glenda | 1/12/09
All of the comments here are really great and each one of them has a piece of truth. I'm glad people write these kind of things about MUSE, their music and lyrics.
Map Of The Problematique is so special for me... it's also my favorite MUSE song (difficult to decide)... I just love it, it's ideal and magical, it makes me cry when I feel sad and also gives me strenght.
When I die, definitely has to be played in my funeral :)...
♥MUSE rules... amazing band... just beautiful... ♥
love? | Reviewer: Hugo | 1/5/09
I think this song is about non-mutual love.
"And I feel
Like everything I sow
Is been swept away
Well I refuse to let you go"
He has tried to get her, but she hasn't shown any affection towards him. So all the efforts he made turned out to be useless. He still won't let go, however
"I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met you"
He fell in love and got rejected, and the rejection left him totally confused
"Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?
Life
Will flash before my eyes
So scattered and lost
I want to touch the other side"
He feels really lonely without her, and he even thinks about committing suicide(attempts), I think
This is a great song, About pretty dark, nasty problems. Good shit, Muse!
Hm | Reviewer: Erik | 10/29/08
I think it's about the world in general, it's fading within every moment because of abused power, greed and hatred.
I'm pretty sure the one who wrote this song has an IQ of over 140 because it truly is a masterpiece. It lacks nothing.
war | Reviewer: cass | 10/2/08
I think this song is about war and how it is all rather usless. If you look in the lines:
And no one
Thinks they are to blame
Why can't we see
When we bleed we bleed the same
It seems like he's trying to point out the futility of war, how in the end we "bleed the same." How dispite all the stupid reasons -blame-
when it comes done to it it is still the blood of incents being spilled
Depeche Mode Cover? | Reviewer: tom | 9/14/08
This is a good song but when I heard the first 30 seconds I thought it was a cover of "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode. Both songs have basically have the exact same changes in the synth or keyboards or whatever.
