Humanity | Reviewer: Pringle | 4/11/13
The beauty of this song is that it is so inspirational, yet can be interpreted in so many different ways and applied to all walks of life; to love, a revolution or fight for freedom etc. I personally feel that it's about humanity as a whole, struggling against the many obstacles that we face in the modern world, yet if we fight together we are truly invicible. There is nothing that we will not overcome if we are united. The song also celebrates differences between people and diversity within the human race; the lines "it makes no difference to me what you leave behind and what you choose to be" in particular convey this. A fantastic song that always cheers me up and keeps me going when things are going badly; this should be the national anthem of humanity as a whole.

Great on Multiple Levels | Reviewer: debbie338 | 6/15/11
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's extremely intense, building both in volume and emotion to a very emotional climax. The lyrics can be interpreted as either something very personal, like a relationship that society does not approve of, or something very political, even a revolution. It actually makes me tear up when I listen quietly and focus on it.

I think this song its, like in most of the Resistance album, about the idea of fighting against our demons. the government, the entire society, or even ourselves. they're all trying to "pull us down".
its a song about being 'different' and how to deal with. not hiding. to show ourselves as we are.
if you're gay, this song would be about coming out of the closet. inevitably. about fighting against close-minded people.
its an amazing song.
AMAZING! | Reviewer: totalmuseluvr<3 | 5/27/10
This song is absolutely amazing!
It's so touching and makes me smile every time i listen to it. I think this song is just about life an it;s many struggles. I also think it's just telling us to fight for what we truly believe in, follow our dreams and simply don't give up the fight. I think it's an overview of Matt's life basically, I think it's saying that he made some bad choices in life and he's trying to tell us not to do what he did and keep moving forward.
This song means a lot to me. It means to much to me to even put in words. This song is amazing and touching and everything good! I love Muse. LONG LIVE MUSE!
GREAT SONG | Reviewer: mina | 5/24/10
Well, my interpretation of this song is do not give up, that whatever is on your mind, you do so, one has to stop himself until the end, so is that the people you care nurse course want to fail, you have to fight for your dreams, for your freedom, for what you believe is right, and not feel oppressed and do what they please others, in this case would be the U.S. government, one has the same power to change things around us, we do not live in an age where you both the Governor oppressed and trampled pride, dreams and the freedom of living beings on this beautiful planet, we have the power to change things, we can fight and move forward not allowing people unjust, corrupt, full of lust for power want to destroy what we have achieved what we have fought, and even when people are beyond the outside who want to oppress us, who want to sabotage nustra freedom, our rights, we can fight and we will be victorious and there is no command that you want to oppress the world., because we are most
New World Order | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/10/10
My interpretation of this song is that it is about the struggle against tyranny, growing government, and a possible New World Order. I say this because of Matt's known interest in the NWO conspiracy which seems to come up a lot in Muse's lyrics:
And during the struggle
They will pull us down
But please, please let's use this chance to
Turn things around
I think that in a lot of Matt's lyrics there is fear of a massive global government a la 1984 forcing uniform tyrannic laws on its citizens. The struggle is against government, specifically the NWO and Matt is urging a revolution. The song predicts such a place in the not so far off future and speaks to those that are working to prevent it. The government will bring us down, but we still have a chance to turn that around. A revolution of sorts against government expansion and tyranny. History always repeats itself, but in this global age the next tyrannic government will be felt throughout the world.
This is correct! We all have to open our eyes and see what is really going on around us!
Great Song | Reviewer: haby22 | 3/4/10
I love the lyrics and music in this song. it's close thing to perfect.
to me, the song could mean about relationships with others, with government, or something like, but i think it speaks more to the ongoing struggle within yourself. Some of the lyrics speak to getting you to act in a certain way, "follow through". It's about not feeling deterred, even if it's your own sub consciousness. It's one of those songs that just cheers you up and puts things in perspective when you're being oppressed by someone or something and you're in a situation where you can turn around and run or keep pushing forward. I think this is for those moments, and I know we've all had them. Strangely, I am listening to "Don't Worry be Happy" and comparared to "Invincible", it's crap. Trully love this song, and I know that I will be invincible and strive for greatness by "taking a stance" because "there is no one like you in the universe.".
different meaning | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/17/10
i interpret the song to be about the struggle to be yourself i think matt has gone through the struggle of being different and misunderstood and he is speaking about a relationship that can survive the back-talk and the pointing fingers and thrive in their love and care for one another, no matter what others think they can thrive in their own interests and live life together as they feel appropriate
About this song | Reviewer: Patrik | 1/8/10
I know we can intrupret this song in many and it probably has political undertones to it. But I believe that it creates a few parables like the feeling of undieing love, social readiness, and uninty, ect. My take is a religious one. I feel he is speaking to god or god speaking to us. That no matter what struggle or hardship we face, together we are invincible. Keyword being "together". Being aloner or facing adversity alone only leads to death and total mortallity. But to leave with legence and to be lead but greater forces is to be legendry and immortal, even after death. Making you ultimatly invincible. Check out STARDOOM at myspace to see and hear my music.

Politics | Reviewer: Sweden ;D | 8/27/09
Read that to many of you it had a deeper meaning, like love... I see it more from a political view, I mean just look at what's happening in Iran or what happened in Chili years ago... The lyrics fits perfectly, Together we're invincible!
hehe, I just saw that some people had written almost the same but what the heck ;D don't have time to read the whole page xP
Love Muse!!!! :] | Reviewer: nina | 7/15/09
I love this song so, so much! Even though I think it's more mainstream than most of their songs it's still freakin awesome! I've been obsessed with this song since the first time I heard it, and I agree with all of you.
It's about two people falling in love, and some people/someone tries to break them apart, but they know that true love conquers everything, and together they're invincible.
Amazing | Reviewer: Vanslashington | 6/14/09
Love this song so much. From the first time I listened to it, I always interpreted it as it being about two politicians or business partners or maybe just a couple who are standing up to a government, and also happen to be in love with each other. I don't know, that's just how I thought of it. Muse is amazing.
