In short, they are gorgeous :) Information Clarification | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/22/09 I'll start it off by saying Muse is an amazing band, and extremely difficult to match in musical talent, and in masterful symbolism. Muse has also done multiple song remakes though, including House of the Rising Sun, and this song - Feeling Good. Feeling Good was originally written in 1965 for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd, I won't go into too much detail though since somebody already posted that part. Another piece of information somebody posted was that in the movie "La Femme Nikita" which was released in 1990, contained the, as somebody said "Muse song 'Feeling Good' at the end of it". The problem with that statement, is that Muse wasn't even a sponsored band then. They had no method of getting their songs out into the world at the time. What you have to remember is that the song was originally written back in 1965 and since then had been covered by numerous other bands. Please don't get me wrong, I love Muse. I'm not hating on them or any of you fellow Muse fans including anybody I criticized, I'm just helping everybody out with some background knowledge. Now since I'm on the topic of Muse song remakes and I'm bored and have nothing to do, I think I'll also cover "House of the Rising Sun". "House of the Rising Sun" if you ask most people was originally released by The Animals. Although the most famous version of the song was by them it was done many times before them. In fact, the song dates back to approximately 1820 and is an American folk song which is commonly sung around the southern states, primarily Alabama, Mississippi,and Tennessee. Nowadays the song is generally sung by a male, although the song was originally intended for a female, despite what the lyrics might suggest. The song is thought to be about a prostitution, drug house in good old New Orleans. The song is also believed to be true due to records suggesting that there was a building in New Orleans called The House of the Rising Sun which was active about the time the song is thought to be originally conspired. Even though The House of the Rising Sun collapsed long before the 1900s or even before 1850 it is known for sure that prostitution was very active in the building. This is confirmed by archaeologists whom have recovered multiple different artifacts that would prove that the building was a center of prostitution. Well now you guys know all about Muse's remakes of House of the Rising Sun" and "Feeling Good". Since you guys probably all think I'm a pain in the ass now I'll shut up. It makes me feel so happy and joyful, and rejuvenated, yet and so sad that it brings tears to my eyes. I can listen to it over and over and over... It always reminds me of my 1 breakup coming out of my long bad relationship and starting a whole new life: free, new, alone and scared- yet still having the feeling of being lied to by this new awakening and awesome feeling.
