this is definetely my favourite song on the album. The riff us so simple but just sounds awesome! the lyrics are great and completely flows with the sound of the guitar. great song, best band on the face of the planet. :)

Well, one great piece of a very great album. I love this song, its one of the best in the album. Songs as "Assination" and "Map of the problematiqe" are just as good as it thought and "Knights of cydonia" is absolutely the best song live. (seen muse live twice)

Not entirely sure but i believe muse is speaking of the los zetas. A now independent organization of ex-military/police/special forces agents with unknown plans.
Zetas are aliens | Reviewer: Scott | 11/9/07
I believe the Zetas Mr. Bellamy speaks of are aliens from the Zeta Reticuli star system. Look up greys, Zetas, and the Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction to find out more. Wikipedia is a good place to start.
Of course, Mr. Bellamy questions everything from the viewpoint of conspiracy, so the Zetas may simply be another veil of government conspiracy.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
YOU ARE ALL WRONG | Reviewer: Andrew G | 10/10/07
this song is about a teachings of timothy leary and how he believed that the answer to life is were on space. timothy learys 2 most famous books are Exo – Psychology and Neuropolitics hence then name Exo-politics. i am right you are all stupid. eat me
WAKE UP ! | Reviewer: Grinch | 10/6/07
Everyone who hears this song, needs to act on what Muse are saying to listeners within the lyrics. We as a people all over the world are losing a war that we cannot afford to lose, The Infowar. We are being controlled by mindless crap on the TV. keeping us "entertained" instead of "thinking". People, turn off the TV, get on the internet and watch the alternatives to the state controlled news media. Find out what's really going on. Muse and groups of this generation know and are tring to reach you kids through the songs. Listen and act. In the 1980's, A.I.D.S. was the risk to everyones life through sex. The advert on TV and posters stated "don't die of ignorance". We didn't have the recources like the internet available then. The message is the same now. WAKE UP! Don't die of Ignorance. See what's going on... People, listen to the songs, google keywords like 911, New World Order. See what's been happening to you. This truly is an amazing piece.
I dont know? | Reviewer: Mr. T | 10/4/07
I absolutely agree, this song is the best. ive introduced it to otherpeople, who initially say that its crap and not worth listening. but then they caught on and realised how great it was. PS: what the hek is a "Zeta"- i still don't understand, even after Alex explained it.
WOW | Reviewer: alex | 7/20/07
I've known Bellamy was into conspiracy theorys, but not until picking up the insane 'Balckholes & Revelations' did i get a picture of just how much so.
I don't know if this album is inspired or inept, awesome or pedestrian
its the most direct ive ever heard of a band confronting the world wide strife of the last 7 years though so directly so i'm leaning towards incredible, if for just the size of Matt's wrinklies.
This is major illuminati stuff here, freemason birth of anti Christ notions, these lyrics,(zetas coming to earth, puppets for the stringpullers)
and i've never heard these ideas spouted so publically in my life. Bellamy might be mad, Muse the most paranoid outfit since Radiohead, but its never less than compelling listening, especially Exo-Politiocs.

Best song on the album, the riff is amazing, with an amazing chorus. i agree with Azza, most uplifting song on the album. Starlight is a great song, but it doens't have enough guitar in it.

I love this song, it's one of my favorite of the album. It grew on me, but quickly. It's sad how they have great songs, but aren't well known in the U.S. Still this is such a great song.
