Unrequited love | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/9/09

This song has a lot of meaning to me right now. I believe it expresses one's emotions towards a person they are in love with, but just can't confront them about it. "The moment never comes"...tragic, indeed. Of course, it can be interpreted any way you like, that's just what it means to me.

I think this song, it's about a son or daugther.
Ité the kind of love that a father give to child. hopelessly and endlessly.
Matt is talking about the wish, the feeling, if he would have a child, then "If the moment ever come, But the moment never come"

you people just don't get it!!!

why do you bother to analyze songs in the first place...
cant you realize that any song that you hear and find you love is because of your own interpretation of it.

in the end it doesn't really matter if he is singing about love or death, girl or goddess ... it all comes down to the memory that it sparks whenever you hear it...

quit analyzing and start appreciating it for what you believe it means... would you realy accept any other persons take on it anyway????

Endlessly | Reviewer: Guillermo | 12/12/08

I think It's about a relationship that ended up the rough way, and can't stop loving even if the other person has moved one, he'll be waiting for the right moment to appear and make things right.
I look forward to that moment as well.

´Tragic Dream. | Reviewer: jade de Ocampo | 11/12/08

The final lines says the sorrow of whoever wrote the lyrics. "But the moment never comes". Certainly, the general point of the lyrics - and the sad beat itself - ´relates over the failure of writer to shower love to the one that love is intended. However, as the last line says: "But the moment never comes." Tragic!

Hopelessly, I love this endlessly
Hopelessly, this song 'aint everything
But I won't give it up
I won't let it down
I won't stop listening
Cause the moment never comes.

This song is about love. Not to god, not to a woman, but love itself. If you love love, it won't love you back, but everyone does anyway. No-one will give love up, and no-one will stop loving love.

Endlessly. Because love is endless. You can stop loving one person, but no-one in this world can ever stop loving.

I disagree | Reviewer: Lucy | 8/16/08

No I don't think this is about God because Matt Bellamy is an atheist. Wouldn't make much sense to me if an atheist wrote a song about there being a god. Although I do see your point.

This is an awesome song though. I love it!!

not that type of relationship | Reviewer: michael | 8/14/08

I have been a fan of Muse for awhile... their songs are inspired for the most part by the end times, conspiracy and secrets held from us.

Its easy to think that this song is about a relationship with a girl, but they never say the words "her" "she" etc... this song is about the relationship with God who will love you endlessly and wont let you down. God wont give you up, its only you that will give up on God. If you think i am wrong just consider the lyrics for their other songs (Divine Relationship with God) and watch this interview where they talk about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGertyowepr8

Love it | Reviewer: Sarah | 7/14/08

I "discovered" Muse when I was in 10th grade, and it surprised me that I love this band because I'm not usually into this kind of music. This is my absolute favorite song, its really emotional and makes me think about the lyrics every time I hear it.

True love... | Reviewer: rareware | 3/31/08

Sometimes, even though life is tough and love is tougher, when you find that love that your willing to do give your life away for, you never really get the chance to let them know how much you really care. You could give up everything and have a beautiful life with them but never feel like you did enough to express yourself.
