Hope and Revolution- - Your Time it is Now | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/20/11
Obviously it is about Hope and Chaos Theory. One Butterfly's flick somewhere can -by chain reaction- cause a hurricane elsewhere.... Your number has been called to fight. If you stand up and face this ... you will be this butterfly flick ... here where you are, causing by chain reaction the change of all humanity's fate. One of the most beautifull lyrics I have ever read. This is a call for revolution... and the 5th album starts with this... going on with the Origin of Symetry Album, where you can see a human standardization factory, the A of Anarchy, or a picture of the Sub-Commandante Marcos, who speaks for the Zapatista Mouvement, the EZLN.

The lyrics are good ! No mistakes ˆˆ
And wether it's about America means it's about the whole world 'cause as you know, the United States are like the biggest and most powerful country in the planet so I think they kinda get some influence all over ourselves...
And according to me, this song is about the end of the world... one has to be prepared, to change all his ideas about the circumstances in which he was living and face it, face the truth, face the imminent global battle to survive, fight for his principles and make possibly a better tomorrow.
But I'm just saying my opinion...
You THINK you know... | Reviewer: AMUSEfan | 6/4/11
First off, I love this song and it has a very beautiful outro.
Second, just because you *think* the song is about something doesn't make it that. Songs are meant to be interperted by everyone differently. It supposed to make emotions arise in you.
My Simple Opinion | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/27/11
I think this song is about a crashed, global database, saying that the world has been going into some mental crisis since the dawn of time. Money problems after money problems, fights after fights, and other crap spat out. I read other comments, and a couple ring out to me. I have an idea: scared people scared of the apocalyptic era.
Bellamy is awake to global corruption | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/22/11
This song best describes the brainwashed world and their freakish denial of things clearly happening.
The media propaganda machine is crumbling, the truth is imminent.
Ghandi said it best "be the change you want to see in the world".
great song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/10/11
This song is about hope. Not some conspiracy thing that hannah put. This is what Matt himself said about the song. Matthew Bellamy declared about that song: "It's about hope, about trying to find the strength to get through any given situation. I was trying to find a classical type of piano style that would be heavy and work with bass and drums. It had that sort of mechanical paradiddle thing all the way through, and then it breaks down into this kind of romantic, flowing weird bit in the middle". oh, and if u want conspiracy stuff, listen to Exo-Politics, its an awesome song and yes, it is about politics and conspiracies. Also, he never got a death threat from someone that will kill him and his family, it was a threat from the early years of muse, when he stole a ford escort and sold it for 500 pounds. Hers another fact about Matt - During the early years of Muse, Bellamy became involved with some "dodgy" people, with which he stole and sold a Ford Escort for £500. After the owner of the scrap yard from where they stole said Escort threatened to burn Bellamy's house with his family inside it, Bellamy gave the man Muse's tour bus. Bellamy has stated that he'd like to exact revenge on this man by putting him into a car crusher. sorry for the long post but the last one by hannah is pure bullshit.
it is in fact [ultimately] about the states | Reviewer: hannah | 1/1/11
perhaps the majority of brits don't care about the states, but matthew bellamy does. the few true muse fans out there probably already know this: bellamy is a huuuuge conspiracy theorist (or was, until the conspirators threatened to kill him and his family). anyway, most conspiracy theorists believe that the united states basically messed up all of humanity and is the foundation for the new world order (look it up, it's too much to write here). although this song is clearly not directly about the united states, although i believe the song "sunburn" is, it is a warning for what will come to pass because of the USA. it is also motivation to stand up, revolt, and have revenge on those who have allowed the american people to become stupid, fat, depressed, and brainwashed.

Song's about death. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/28/10
Mk, lots of Muse songs carry the same theme. I think he is afraid of dying. He's scared of not understanding the universe before he dies, or not accomplishing anything before he dies. With all respect, I think most of the songs he writes are about self awareness.
... | Reviewer: M8 | 3/9/10
Well.. I would simply say that this song is about life... The life, your life.
Everything you do affects everyone in some way, wheter it is today or next millennia, therefore the title. And it simply encourages people to live and affect because this is the one and only chance. This is the only time and the hardest time you will ever experience.
But.. That is my opinion.
Whatever this song means it is still a masterpiece. And i don't really care what it means as long it is good.
