what i think | Reviewer: just a person | 10/28/09
you people talk about saving the world, it's impossible. with the coming of man also comes good and bad. so as long there is free will our planet and the people on it will always be put in some kind of disadvantage, be it on personal or global level. we all created good and bad.

Epic | Reviewer: Byron | 10/23/09
Epic, breathtaking, huge.
This song raises my adrenalin level like little else (music or otherwise)
Absolutely incredible.
And Muse shouldn't do music for movie adaptations of shitty books, they should do the soundtrack for something truly EPIC.
THIS IS THE END OF THE WORLD.

Muse is a simply amazing band , and Twilight is simply fail. I'm sorry , but I've read the entire series and the writing , in my opinion , is atrocious. By the way , vampires don't sparkle. Fairies do. Muse FTW!
Inspiration | Reviewer: Kezra | 6/16/09
This fuels me when I need motivation to continue with this ongoing project I've been working on. A sort of multi-media book, if you will. This song is very fitting.
And pumps me up with it's soothing and yet at the same time, upsetting mixture of vocals and lyrics and OH,
it's simply fantastic.
I love Muse.
Win/Lose | Reviewer: Cathrein | 6/11/09
In a way I feel this song is saying in order to fully save our world it'd have to be destroyed. Because only right before something really bad happens do people really care enough to spring into action to save themselves.
*Shrug.
Just what I think. :]
Great Song | Reviewer: L | 5/7/09
This song is incredible, it's simple yet it is very powerful the lyrics are so meaningful and the tune of the song fits the song completely. melodic and powerful.
I feel the first verse of the song is about a falling world and remind us the reality of what we are doing to this world.
The second verse is about the hope for a miracle, be it religious or not, that we can save humanity from ourselves and a failing world.
The third verse is the realization of what all human hope for, a better and kinder world where we no longer repeat the same mistakes such as war and conflict and atrocities over and over again.
And the final part can mean both thing, the end of the old world and the beginning of a better World. Or just simply the end and destruction of our old world with nothing left.
Thats what i feel deeply. I wonder about others?
More Muse, please? | Reviewer: Leah | 5/6/09
This song turns me on. SOrry for that reference but I totally agree, Jcrispy, hes totally saying bring it on. Oh and please twilight fans put your obsessions in the Twilight blogs not on Muse lyrics pages, because they are way more talented then any one of actors in Twilight ever will be. I love Muse. Everything about them is just epic. I want more.
meh. in a good way. | Reviewer: Shadow | 5/3/09
*applauds*
This song 'slightly' reminds me of Wake Up, by The Living End. Same relative concept spectrum-
and I must agree with Jcrispy......please leave your obsession to the Twilight blogs....don't make the rest of the world have to deal with it any more than we have to.
silly me | Reviewer: alex | 4/30/09
man i'm so silly. i used to hate muse. coz everytime i saw supermass. blackhole on the TV , the video and his voice always turned me off of the song. but i then heard hysteria and stockholm syndrom and i absolutely fell in love with them, mainly because i realised his voice isn't permanly high pitched and the lyrics and music is soo different and Sooooo amazming like jaw dropping. i then got absolution and so on... i can't believe i never saw through this band, they are the smartest band i konw
My world is crumbling | Reviewer: Jcrispy | 2/14/09
I can't believe my most favourite band is being butchered by tryhard vampire kids. i don't mind that you exist and all but save those crappy twilight references on a twilight fan page. anyway i believe this song is matt's statement on the world and that it's pretty much doomed (well capitalism is anyway) and he's saying "bring it on"
AHAHA. What a Coincidence. | Reviewer: A Girl Obsessed | 12/10/08
There's me, surfing round for lyrics and their meanings (for a project that is now under wraps, but will some time hopefully reach all of your ears... Oh, don't we love optimism?). And I come across "Haralicious" comment. Well, the end bit about Twilight, but only those die-hard fans will realise it, like, ahem, moi. Must stress that Edward Cullen is mine, or at least Robert Pattinson. - I'll be your lamb anyday! HAHA. Or maybe another masochistic lion will prise you away from the lamb? Fingers Crossed. Love the film, the books, Stephenie Meyer, and of course that band who brought it all together; Muse. x
Apocalypse Please | Reviewer: Michael | 12/6/08
The title of this song is one of the best, if not the best, titles I have ever seen. It depicts a sense of longing mixed with despair, asking for Apocalypse to end the horror this world has come to.
Apocalypse is the end of the world and the site of the final battle between Good and Evil, according to the bible.
Hence the verse:
And it's time we saw a miracle
Come on it's time for something biblical
To pull us through it all
And pull us through it all
Matt is asking for a miracle, specifically the end of the world, to pull us through this failing world.
At least that's how I interpret it.
Amazing song in the best album of all time.
