I´m spanish living in Spain. I like very much the music of morrissey. but listening the lyrics, sounds with lots of messeges. I dont know very well the history of england (no even speak english) but morrissey seems fascist or something like this. for example the song The national say: "england for the english" in fact seems racist.
And "Irish Blood, English Heart". what is going on?

Elaine carroll, I hope you're winding everyone up or you're an ignorant twat. It really pisses me off when people say that shit. The IRA serve no purpose -Catholics in the North aren't discriminated against and Protestants have a right to be there. They're criminals, murderers and a disgrace on our nation. I think is a great song because it does not only talks about the proud of being Irish or English, but the origins of any race.

I have only recently been introduced into the Morrissey world....I didn't think too much of his stuff...BUT THE I REALLY LISTENED.....My personal favourite is "You Have Killed Me".....but this one is right up there....!!! A life time of history in under 3 minutes. Go there Moz!! And for the record....I am.... Turkish Blood, English Heart, this I'm made of.

At a time when the ¨thoroughly¨ Anglo-Saxon English are rediscovering their Atlantic Celt heritage, Morrissey´s timing couldn´t be better.
