I have been around the music block quite a few times... and of all the music i have listened to, and analyzed, Modest Mouse has to be the "Best" band there is. The lyrics all though probably not meant to be this way, are written in a way to let the listener form the meaning to match his/her life. The music its self is far beyond what the typical band acheives in their prime, modest mouse is unique for their various dofferent styles of music and deep thoughtful lyrics about life. Isaac Brock is a Pure modern musical genius.

modest mouse is my all time favorite band. Their lyrics really make you think about life. Their music blows me away, its more then drums and gutairs. Some of the songs may not be for everybody but i haven't heard one modest mouse song i don't like. Hope you enjoy the wonders of modest mouse..bye!

Modest Mouse to me is quite possibly the greatest band I've heard. Their song "Perfect Disguise" really gets you in the position that this music is actually made for anyone to put in their point of view. Modest Mouse pretty much makes music that is truly meant for the listener to desipher what the music is to them.

When I Hear Modest Mouse, I feel relaxed. The Lyrics are so in depth to the world and everything around you. The album with the song 3rd planet is also a good song to vibe to. It's not really hard rock where you bang your head to but something to get you in a good mellow mood. It's upbeat in a way so you are addicted to the words and the beats. They are a cross between Pink Floyd and Coldplay. I listen to Modest Mouse everyday and I think everyone else should because it makes my interesting day even more interesting...let's say it's intriging. For those people out there who like new music and are into alternative, Modest Mouse is for you.
