She who dares... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/19/09
Oh, I love this song sooooooooo much! It reminds me so much of me and my ex. He is now married to someone else and although that breaks my heart, we could have never been married- we were not meant to be forever (it's just like that sometimes.) However, his wife loves him so much better than I ever could. We both know that even though after a 4-yr long relationship... the break-up was hard anyway and it is still hard years later. Even still our love holds special meaning to both of us and if she ever hurts him, he knows I will be right there for him. I like what the one reviewer said about her daring the current woman to love him better or maybe not to.

It's 3:32am and I just heard this song for the very first time. It hits so close to home. You let someone go because you think you have to...only to realize you pushed the best part of you away. This song reminds me of my situation, 3 years later I am still feeling the regret and heartache and you better believe if he were ever to call, I would drop EVERYTHING and go running.
Commitment issues | Reviewer: BrokenheartedGirl | 2/3/09
For me its about a girl who is in a great relationship but is scared to commit to one single man and everyday she sees herself fall more and more in love with this man so shes scared he'll have enough of her heart to brake it. thats actually where i am right now...i dont allow myself to give my heart to one man :(

I can totally relate to this song... these lyrics explain what i have done to and ex and I ended hurting more then he did ..and i was the one that said "I think it was time we moved on to better ourselves."
Great song | Reviewer: Sarah | 1/11/09
This is such a beautiful song. To me, it's about a couple that's broken up, but neither of them have moved on. The guy has found someone else who loves him, but he's torn between post-breakup agony and wanting to be with the new girl. His ex gives her approval of his choice, and urges him to date the new girl, even though she still loves him. She accepts that she is jealous and hurting, but has enough strength to give him up.
LOVE this song!

This woman's voice is amazing...Haunting, if you will! The way I interpret this song is about her loving this guy so much, but knowing that he deserves a different type of love then she thinks she can give him. Part of her regrets leaving, but the other part is really daring this other woman to love him better than her. Maybe she is doing this in the that HE will realize that it was really her that loved him the best all along!!!
I am in a fabulous relationship, but LOVE LOVE LOVE this song and really feel her pain.
Letting Go | Reviewer: Amanda | 12/4/08
i absolutely love this song. its so true about when your with someone who you loved so much at first but you know that someone else loves him more. its like she has love for him but isnt in love anymore. then you have those sayings where it says sometimes you have to let go of who you love, not because he hurt you but because you dont have the fire in your heart for him anymore. awesome song, i hope to hear more from the one and only Missy Higgins.
My vision | Reviewer: Mary | 11/11/08
I think this song is about this woman who is in a relationship with this man. they both love each other but they aren't as close as they used to be. when she sees him with another woman she knew that this woman could love him better than she could and she is there for him. "Cause she will love you more then i could, She who dares to stand where i stood" the problem is that they are both trying to denial the fact and they don't want to let each other go. "See i thought love was black and white
That it was wrong or it was right
But you ain't leaving without a fight
And i think i am just as torn inside"
she doesn't know if she can let him go because she has defined herself as being his girl friend. even thought she knows that she should let him go it is still hurts. "Cause i dont know who i am, who i am without you
All i know is that i should
And i dont know if i could stand another hand upon you
All i know is that i should"
now she finally realizing that she can't hold on to him anymore because a part of him is aready gone. "I dont know what i've done
Or if i like what i've begun
But something told me to run
And honey you know me it's all or none
There were sounds in my head
Little voices whispering
That i should go and this should end
Oh and i found my self listening"
She still loves him but in order for him to be happy she needs to let him go.
"And I wont be far from where you are if ever you should call
You meant more to me then any one i've ever loved at all
But you taught me how to trust myself
And so i say to you, this is what i have to do."
love it | Reviewer: Naomi | 9/23/08
This song is definatly a song to listen to when you are struggling in love, i have heard this song before but I was watching an episode of smallville season 7 and it came on over top of some deep moments relationships breaking up and i instantly went and brought it. i did also hear it in one tree hill when peyton said No, i could not belive it what was that girl thinking? anyway great song and some good choices of where they through it in on shows. it's helping me through a rough time myself.
OMFG! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/16/08
If any one of u watch one tree hill, this song played in the 5th season in the episode,"i forgot 2 remember 2 forget". Lucas proposed 2 peyton bt she sed no. Ths song translates perfectly to that n the development of their story throughout the season when lucas almost marries sum otha girl n peyton is crushed. I cried when i heard it playing. Missy is bisexual by the way so stop saying he or boy so adamantly, it cudve just as easily been a broad. Love one tree hill, love missy, love peyton!
