It's also the song i listened to when i lost my bestfriend. And also when me and my boyfriend broke up after 2 years. I think that this song is amazing and it explains so much about life. When I preformed in this dance at nationals, i got tears in my eyes. It always gets my teary-eyed. And thats what i love about it. It's about leaving your best friend behind, knowing you can't ever go back, and that that part of your life is over, and its time to move on. Knowing you still love them, but it can never be again, cos it didn't work out, and it won't. But it won't work without them either, at least for a little while, so you still have trouble accepting that a little part of you is missing, there's a hole in the side of your heart that can never be refilled, but you've stopped caring - as long as they stop hurting, nothing matters. So you need to let them go, to find their own way, even if you yourself are lost forever. That's what the song means to me, anyway.
