Review about Nursing Home ------Performed by Ministry | 02/15/2007 10:00:00 AM Blatantly Wrong Lyrics Every single time I have looked for the lyrics to this song online, I have always found this blatantly wrong version. If you listen to this song even one time, you will realize how incorrect these lyrics are. I assume one idiot transcribed them wrong the first time, and then every time someone started a new lyrics site, they kept referencing these and it spread all over the Internet. I seriously spent an entire night one time listening to this song over and over again, trying to transcribe the correct lyrics, but it is so hard to understand Al during this song. However, I WAS able to decipher the chorus correctly, and this is how it really goes: "Not dead yet, just moving kind of slow Not dead yet, just doesn't let go Not dead yet, just leave me alone Not dead yet in the nursing home" The person who first transcribed this song must be deaf to have messed this up because the chorus is the one part where you can actually understand Al coherently. The rest of the song is too hard to transcribe, so I am not going to waste any more effort on it. The only way the actual lyrics to this song will ever be correct online is for Al Jourgensen himself to finally sit down and write them down on his Web site or something. I'm sure he'll have enough time to do that once he becomes a history professor at UT. If you want the correct lyrics to "Nursing Home," just listen to the song.
