This is part of why Chief Logan is a great camp, with a great staff. I have just returned from 6 weeks at camp where we sing "FRIENDS" at every Friday night camp fire after seeing a slide show of this weeks friendships. I am an older scouter (62), and can see how Friends are Forever has made a difference in both past and present campers and staff! What a great song to live by. GOD bless. Graduation song class of 97 | Reviewer: Soulforged | 6/9/09 High school tradition is the choir sang this song at every graduation ceremony. It was ok, but never had an impact on me. Years later (about 2 yrs ago) my daughters best friend (16yrs old) died a tragic death, this song was played at his funeral and it hit home for me. MWS has been a huge inspiration for me ever since. Several years ago there was someone in the band that got killed. Since then this song has been an inspirational song that we all love. then this most recent season our band was in st. george utah for a competition and we heard the news that a girl at our school had been killed while we were away. i think that when we sang it after we got back that it was the best i had ever heard it and i felt i could kind of relate to how the kids felt years ago the first time. this song is so wonderful i would recommend it to anybody. Her mom survived and she is in Heaven. I know that one day we meet again. My friends knew how bad my life was and my friends use to sing Friends to me to help change my mind. I am so greatful that they did now I have three little girls. Pain...loss and grief saying good byes be it moving away, be it death. First heard this song in Youth Group, Young Life 1988. Loved both the funky and original version. Then a friend drowned just before entering college. This song was our heart's cry at the funeral service. Almost 20 years later, a new chapter in life. Transitions come and go.
