"impart" | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/7/09

Thanks for a moving praise song that lifts up God's Word! My question regards its use of the word "impart." In standard English, "impart" is a transitive verb, meaning that it needs a direct object, but in the song "impart" is used intransitively (i.e., without an object). In other words, what we need is for the "ancient words" to impart wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and truth. But to end the chorus with "let the ancient words impart" leaves the meaning uncertain. I realize that there's no easy way to correct this ambiguity in this song, but I encourage you to polish your lyrics until they reflect as fully as possible the truth of God's message.

Great Impart! | Reviewer: Richard | 9/22/08

I am a worship leader in one the the Charismatic Churches in Ghana, and I must say the first time our Choir ministered this song, God Himself descended down, it was Heaven on earth. I believe it is God Himself that wrote this song.

Michae Smith, God richly bless You.

Deeply Moving | Reviewer: Socrates Karagiannidis | 2/28/08

When I first heard this song and read the lyrics, I was so much amazed such words and music could move me. The song took me to tremendous walks with God with his people in Egypt, Sinai, Palestine. I imagined and felt I was listening as Jesus spoke while we were walking along.

The song connected me with those through the ages who have gone on before us.
