I love this song I cried when we sang it in church. God is so real and Loved us so much just preach and sing. I remember when there was a time to cry and I listen to this song called Agnus dei. the first time i heard this song it was at de gym, i sat down for a while thankin god for this song, i asked our instructor who is singin the song n he said michael w smith, i went al de shops till i got from my brother, i played on my laptop in my room till late at night. i got so blessed and attached to the holy spirit. i felt it in my heart. i was even singin it holdin my tummy as im pregnant singin for my baby. god bless u michael, keep on blessing us.

This song is everything God represents: holiness, majestic splendor, power, awesomeness,quintessence of grace etc. Two words quantify and qualify this song in my opinion :SHEER HEAVEN.

I am looking for the choir that recorded "Agnus Dei with O Come let us adore him as the ending. It is on a Christmas tape. The arrangement of course is by Michael W. Smith.

This has to be one of my top 3 of MWS's. But I was wondering if anyone knows about a version that he sings with the Vienna Boys Choir?? Or some boys choir...... I've looked online at Walmart, but none of those are it. I don't think....

I am not religious although I believe in God. But the first time I saw it on TV it was something undescrible. This performance by Michael W. Smith and the choir is something fantastic. It is a song to be heard every day, as a pray.

I have heard this song in so many different versions and have been blessed in so many ways by it. This song brings me to the feet of the holy God in heaven. May God set the prisoners free and give direction for the lost. He is holy and in this song He will set you free. It is a wonderful and Powerfull song and a soft blessing to all.

That's what I 'feel' when I hear this song performed. The first time I heard it was during morning worship service at our church by the full choir (~ 100 choir members). We have a great sound system and I sat there thinking this MUST be what it'll be like in heaven singing these words of praise to our LORD. I don't have a good singing voice, so I'll be thrilled when I do in heaven because I will then! I'm brought to tears every time I hear it reflecting on His holiness and my sin and the price He paid for ME and am awed that He would. I had to find the best recording of this so I could listen often; thank you MWS for your rendition. and above all, praise God for your talents.

My son and daughter-in-law chose this song for their wedding. When she walked into the church while this song was playing, it was so unreal - the tears were streaming down my face! I just couldn't help myself. At the reception a lot of people admitted that they were also moved to tears. This was the first time I heard this song but it still has this effect on me even now and I play it often, especially when I drive. It's difficult to get cross with other drivers with this music in your ears! The other day a colleague heard it, also for the first time (I have a portable CD player which I take to work and she got inquisitive as I was singing along with my whole heart) and you know what? While she listened to it, she also started crying! This song does that one. It really moves you. It is sublime!
