Michael Jackson has this smooth, beautiful, voice that makes the song almost perfect. I guess it could have been perfect if he sang the whole song without Ms. Garret. She has a fine voice but what is it next to Michael Jackson's? The song is the usual love song, made extraordinary by Jackson's vocal prowess. You could feel the emotion in every word, even the parts sang by Garret. The glitch here is: they both have powerful chords, and power+power isn't exactly a perfect combo. Not even Jackson's high-pitched hee hee's could save the song from the very powerful combination. Still, the song remains great.
