The Reviews about Euphoria (page 1/1)
------ performed by Michael Jackson

Looking back at Michael's lyrics, there's a significant beginning and an increase in frequency of refrences to med use and drug tolerance (see "Morphine", from "Blood On the Dance Floor"). I understand his need for the meds and I do not believe for a moment he was even capable of using them recreationaly. A man-child with a programmed-in need to please others, (Joe Jackson is a MONSTER) Michael needed his medical professionals to do more care more, rather than obey blindly, to think for him when necessary, even if it meant humoring him (decieving him for his own good).
Unfortunately, money is such a powerful motivator that even a child-like (I loved that about him!) person of fame could get his way by simply threatening to see (and pay) another doctor. I'm sure there are more than a few who stood up for what was best for him, leading him to the idiot who WOULD throw away his integrity, ignoring the oath, risking and destroying his patient's life for his own wealth.
Michael, I wish we could have known one another. Can't say I could have helped, except to say I'd have chased that greedy doc straight out Neverland's gates with a big stick!
Jermaine, I feel your pain and appreciate your silence, like your song says, "Some Things Are Private" - I can only imagine how frustrating and disheartening it was to try talking with your brother about the dangers in his life. You're doing an amazing job protecting him still, as only a big brother could.
Loving him always,
Aryca
