While watching the credits, I realized that he did all his own singing in the movie and was totally blown away! I ran out and bought his CD and, as a jazz singer myself, I have to say that the depth and expression as well as the tremendous tonal quality of his voice don't cease to amaze me. Hopefully someday, he'll wow true jazz musicians in Chicago with a performance at Green Dolphin Street. The passion in his voice and music is overwhelming, and a great dose of medicine for any hopeless romantic. I Loved the entire CD, but I was alittle disappointed. My favorite song on the Cd ,"Home", was the only song he himself had written. I definitely want to hear more of his own music. While he has great talent for making a song his own, I think he is also an extraordinary writter.
