i heard whiplash last 21 of january, live at buenos aires , and it's still fucking awsome!!!! theese guys rock as if they were 20 years old ... and thats reflects in their music ... metallica greatest fucking thrashers ever !

This song is one of the most amazing songs evere off one of the most amazing albums ever made. after makiing kill em all i dunno how james and kirk didn't need surgery. you have hit the lights, jump in the fire (best song ever made)
No remorse, seek and destroy. Am i evil ( although a cover, they did brilliant.)
and BLitzkrieg. which are not the lot of them but personally my favorite songs off the album, im oonly 19 and i listen to everyone of those songs every day, i cant get enough, METALLICA FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A truly great thrash metal song from young Metallica. Whiplash typifies there unique thrashy style more than any other song they've come out with. It's unrelentingly fast guitar solo, riffs, it's 'rough' and fast lyrics and speedy drum beat, this is a beautiful thrash song. There. That's my review, now for my COMMENT.

I think... "Whiplash" is about metalheads, & Metallica themself, both as the band or as the fan (of other metal band that they love). Out of any song that Metallica has made, this is the only song that should be titled "A 4 minutes long song about the journey that a still living legendary metal band called Metallica" or "the Metallica song". No other song so far that tells about the band itself.

What can i say... every1 has pretty much summed up the song! PURE MENTALIST GENIOUSNESS! they can still manage to bash this out live! saw them at wembley, AMAZING!
