The truth | Reviewer: The Truth | 5/5/09

Metallica has changed alot over the years but lets be real they were thrash metal motherfuckers but as soon as Cliff died a giant chunck of Metallica was missing so they got Jason which did his best to keep it alive but everyone should have known Clifford is ireplacable and after ...And justice for all Metallica is DEAD from Black album up to Death Magnetic that was pure SHIT. R.I.P Clifford Lee Burton

Rest in peace Cliff | Reviewer: anonymous | 4/28/09

Cliff was surely one of the worlds best bassists... if he lived a bit more he could reach great people like Steve Harris, and by the way Iron Maiden was one of the inspirations of Metallica. He was just too young but thats casualities of destiny, its just great that we stil can hear his songs, its his gift to mankind...

R.I.P. dude

Tribute to Cliff | Reviewer: celery | 3/31/09

Even though he died almost seven years before I was born, Cliff Burton is my hero and lives on in my heart. I'm sixteen and I'm a bassist. Metallica has been my favorite band and biggest influence for my band since we started. Cliff's work, especially in Anesthesia, is so wonderful that it almost makes me hate Jason and Trujillo for thinking they can replace him. May he rest in peace, he's moved on to the great gig in the sky.

Remembering Cliff | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/22/09

This is my favorite song at the moment, from my absolute favorite band since I was 5. Metallica has been everything for me. I did not even realize how great this song was until recently. I will always remember him and everything that comes to mind when I listen to this song. Metallica's instrumentals speak louder than their songs with lyrics. The way each person interprets them is different. I can't listen without wanting to cry so bad. It's truly amazing, and I agree, a great memorial to Cliff. I can't imagine what Metallica would be like if he hadn't died, but we all know it has worked out pretty good so far with Trujillo. And we can't forget Jason helped in the making of Justice, which this song comes from. Metallica lives inside me.

RIP Cliff Burton | Reviewer: Puke | 1/20/09

Oh, let us not forget the beer swillin', whiskey drinkin', pot smokin' Cliff Burton. He always had a "fuck you" and a middle finger for everyone! The man was a musical genius which was apparent from the first track (Hit the Lights) from Metallca's first album (Kill 'em All). On the same album, he captivates us with a bass solo (Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)) demonstrating hs mastery of his chosen instrument. If any of you people actually mean what you say about this man, get the video "Cliff 'em All." You may enjoy it.

Amazingly haunting | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/8/09

This song is simply amazing. It is a memorial worthy of Cliff. one of the greatest bassists of all time. I heard thatt this is actually. A poem he wrote before his passing. RIP Cliff. A true musical inspiration.

Cliff'em All | Reviewer: tomdan | 9/26/08

The major rajor and the four string mother fucker.

Legend. Not only a great musician, but a great person too. I wonder why sometimes life can be so unfair.

All the Metallica's classical influences were a Cliff's gift. The harmony, music theory, etc. Whatta lovely man.

Hope Dimebag is there with you Cliff, making some drinks.

CLIFFORD LEE BURTON, right here with us.

PS: I think we all cry in some way while listening to To Live is To Die. Brilliant tune.

Own Opinion | Reviewer: Filip | 8/11/08

Yeah.. Today I truly understood the point of many Metallica's songs.. For example "One".. War, young guy, he'll be invalid for ever.. And I'm really disapointed about many people.. I agree, that somebody don't like heavy stuff, but techno/pop music is so poor and pointless.. Lyrics of those songs are about nothing... Are people retardet or something? I have 14yrs old and I know what teenagers are listening to.. To Live Is To Die and One are the best Metallica's songs.. And I also agree with you guys.. btw I'm Polish and can't understand some of lyrics but I'm trying to.. Greetings to all Metallica fans. I hope more people will appreciate their songs..
R.I.P Cliff
