I love how Metallica's evolved over the years, though I'm a retatively new fan I love these guys, everything comes together so nicely in this song, James and Kirk on guitars and Jason on bass, and of course, the most outspoken of the band (also the funniest), Lars. Was hoping they'd play it in Philly but they played it in another city. And no one knows for sure what the song is about. But speculating at their hints has led most people to believe it is about Cliff and his mother and the pieces they were in his life that were all gone.
