Who realy cares whether the words hit the exact meaning or not... When here these people writes the lyrics which are beyond reasoning field... They write n sing it for us ..with that they fill it with mindboggling strings n stums... U just cant let it go unlistening n nodding ur fuck hand n head... The lyrics are basically exactracted from the realms of Old Testament of christ.. When we are talking about Death Magnetic... The lyrics simply n directlyy connect to y/our life...daily referring to our inner FiGht n Resentment . For me atleast, it does ! And yes , death magnetic is itself an ass kick n mind spinning!;)

this song has a much more complicated meaning for me personally as it pushed me through a hard time now it is with me physically as well as i have it incorporated into a tatoo on my side live everyday so at the end of em all you dont look back badly as that was just your life

I went to see them live in concert a few days ago, and I was front row. It was the best moment of my life. They opened the show with this song and even though I wasn't a fan of Death Magnetic, hearing this in person totally changed my mind. I was jumping all over the place, it gives off great energy.

kill em all,ride the lightning,master of puppets and death magnetic are my fav metallica albums.they were just simply insane in kill em all.ride the ride the lightning linked master of puppets and kill em all.but although and justice for all was a great album,some of it became a bit too complicated.the black had kick ass songs but i didn't like all of it.load reload and st anger also had great songs but were not as good as the first three.but death magnetic really kicked ass just like old times!METAL UP YOUR ASS

I think Metallica is a fucking LEGEND.. and all of their songs are fucking great.. Lots 'o people says St. Anger album is bad but it's not. Can you write a song like "the unnamed feeling", "frantic" or "st. anger" .. No fucking way.! When it says "St. Anger round my neck" it means the noose around his neck. Just try to understand the lyrics.. All you'll like all of Metallica songs.

Metallica shows us once again just how hard they rock, and just how awesome their music is. All of Death Magnetic is incredible, and includes some of their best works.
And *ahem* David, where is your mention of the Black Album on your list of Metallica's best?

Death Magnetic is probably the best album Metallica's made since Load (Yeah, I said it. I think Load is way underrated). Now I can understand if there were anybody who didn't like St. Anger (I didn't like it either), but if there's someone who thinks that Load, ReLoad, and Death Magnetic all suck, then that person needs to go fucking cut their wrists! This album is way cool. Hetfield's singing is better than ever, Kirk's shredding is nothing short of AWESOME, Lars slams on those drums and he slams HARD, and the bass is pretty good. The only thing I wish the album had was more melody to the songs. When I say "melody", I'm talking about stuff like the intro to "One" and "Fade to Black". But other than that, the album kicks ass. 9.2/10

This song is absolutely the best song on Death Magnetic.None of them are bad this one is just great. The riff during the verses is heavy, really heavy. Thank you Metallica for this song and Death Magnetic.
