Look it's me, the guy who submitted these lyrics | Reviewer: Dillon Joiner | 7/11/09

Hey son of a metal lover, first of all this song's about a guy in an electric chair. Wow, what a deep meaning. Bullshit. This song has just as little meaning as Enter Sandman. Now, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, and One, among others, do have deep meaning. Finally, you are absolutely correct about songs on Black having no meaning, but Load & Reload have more deep, meaningful lyrics than you can shake a stick at. Listen to Outlaw Torn. If you have a soul, it will send shivers down your spine.

Well you have to understand the older people get the more calm they get...metallica is getting old so they aren't realy into all the heavy and crazy attention like they did back then... so lay off metallicas balls and enjoy there music...it may not be as crazy and die die type music as before...but they did have great best old music and u gotta say they were the best at crazy songs and no one today is gonna top any of there old songs...they left there legend mark on music of metal...if anyone is gonna talk shit about sum band that is sorry talk about the fagot brothers..in means I mean joNas brothers

every song from metallica have a meaning! if the direction of the lyric is on the same track from the start to the end, if it on the same history!

if a song have diffrent stories in it, then its lame. we all have diffrent feeling and wiews of things in life,

disposable heros is about a young kid that is forced to war, vietnam war. where school kids at age 16 could go to war if they wanted, kids over 18 is forced!

that metallica did amazing with that song was that they put out the lyric so god that it make us feel how much pain his family had, and the master that put him to war, and the boy himself,
master of puppets album is about how wrong the community is, disposable heroes: the kid to war, master of puppets: the commader of war, dedicated to how i killing you.
orion: the beginnig is vry heavy and ruff, and to the end very calm and silence, the beginning is it bombing and shoting, in the end is it like a military funeral..

More About Older Metallica | Reviewer: Son of Metal Lover | 5/21/09

I know that Death magnetic is nothing compared to Master of Puppets. ALL of the songs on Master of Puppets were great! I did like and justice for all but, like you said, that was that last of young Metallica. They were still talented but just new. I liked St.Anger, both the song (Its so fast!)and the album, but young Metallica faded to black and the old days will never come.

Re: Good ol' Metallica | Reviewer: Son of Metal Lover | 4/25/09 | Reviewer: ... | 5/17/09

One was in ...And Justice for All, which is the last "Gold Era" Metallica album. After that, they just started playing T rated mainstream pop because they cared more about the money than their music. Of course I like the lyrics of Black/Load/Reload, but I was a fan of Metallica back when they sounded like they wanted all of us to die. I think that any band that sacrifices its music and its fans for selling and money doesn't deserve much respect. And Death Magnetic? Let me laugh, it's bullshit compared to Master of Puppets.

Yeah the older metallica songs are beter in my opinion, the reason is probaly beacuse
Back then when the band was younger
They had good ideas about songs and the younger you are the more imagination there is...And I realy think that METALLICA has came a very looong way and has survived the music buisness...And what makes METALLICA so special is not just that the music is great, its that the songs are based on different things all the time.so when your listening to there songs, its like there rocking out a story for you..just like the songs ride the lightning witch was based on some person getting the electric chair...and disposable heros based on a person by my opinion forced to fight in war.. So what have we learned from this
Metallica rocks back then and is still pretty good today...just calmer not so angry..its there band, there choice of what goes into the songs so shut the F*CK up if u have a problem about metallica these days or at all!!!!...there way better than these new kid bands these days!!!!!

Good ol' Metallica | Reviewer: Son of Metal Lover | 4/25/09

Yeah,
I'm back. Anyway, your totally right about Metallica being old. I mean dang! Their guitarist is 46 and still playing. But I did hear that they're bringing back their.. uhh, awesomeness in their neewest album "DEATH MAGNETIC". The name even sounds the coolest of all their albums (Not that that matters.)

Also, I don't agree with u on their best album. In my opinion it was "Master of Puppets" which I think is both there best song and album. I just love that album. It had amazing meaning to the songs, like Disposable Heroes (Great meaning about the army) and Master of Puppets (Great meaning about drug use). And I have a question: What album was "One" on? In my opinion, its tied with Master of Puppets for the best Metallica song.

Well they have canged for the better. At least they are making a variety of music rather than just 9 studio albums of the same thing time and time again.

Anyway, Ride The Lightning, awesome song and in my opinion best album from Metallica.

I know the problem. | Reviewer: James | 4/8/09

The reason that why Metallica haven't been as good since The Black Album is because they have gotten older. When your younger your more full of anger and this showed in Metallica's first 5 albums. Yeah they might not have sang about angry things, but James Hetfield put more aggression into the lyrics. But they are all middle-ages now (Trujillo is the youngest at 44), and they are starting to calm down abit because of that fact.

Metallica: Old and new | Reviewer: Son of Metal Lover | 3/13/09

Now I think that older Metallica was a lot better than this newer stuff. For example: Master of Puppets (The song, not album.) was released in 1986 while Enter Sandman was released in 1991. Now compare the two. Master of Puppets (1986) is absolutely amazing with a great deep meaning that makes u say "AWESOME!" and u want 2 listen to it again and again and AGAIN! Now Enter Sandman (1991) sounds a little empty to me with no deep meaning. To me its basically a song about some kind of "Dark Sandman" or something weird like that which is not NEARLY as good as there older songs like One, Disposable Heroes, or Ride the Lightning.

So, that is my opinion and many of u probably agree with me. Old is better than new.

And before I finish writing this I want to say one more thing: Go to Project Playlist so you can compare these songs by simply typing them in a search bar on the site. Its free and no downloading is required! Perfect for music lovers like me and my dad (I'm actually only 12!)
