The title "No Leaf Clover" is a play on the four-leaf clover, which is a sign of good luck/fortune. The moral of "No Leaf Clover" is pretty much the opposite of being lucky... :-)

Lyrics are indeed great. Except that those lyrics are wrong. Who changed them back?

I already corrected them once. Stop fixing what isn't broken!

this is my favorite song...i <333 it so much, it's very deep to me..the way he doesn't say anything straight up, he uses comparisons && i like that in a song.."then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel was just a freight train headed your way"..wow..what little bit of hope you started to see in your black shit hole of a life, turns out that it's the complete opposite && it's coming to kick you in the mouth and ruin everything again...whenever you start to look up, something -always- brings you back down...amazing melody && amazing morals && truly outstanding way of telling his story...
