Wow! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/2/09

the first time i heard this song i cried... i don't care a shit for those people who say that after the black album everything is commercial. i just love this song, love reload and love metallica till the bitter end!!!

One of the greats | Reviewer: Metallman | 8/26/09

This has always been one of my favorite Metallica songs. Metallica is known for it's raw power and heavy guitars and for them to tone it down and craft such a masterpiece shows their skills as musicians. Deep, emotional lyrics. Easily the best song on Reload.

My father... | Reviewer: Meaghan | 11/13/08

My father told me when I was little that this was his song. I never understood until I'd gotten older (And after he'd left...) that this really was his song. Every time I hear it I think of him.

Metallica gives meaning to every strugle in life.

Great song | Reviewer: ... | 10/31/08

Screw the people who say Load and Reload were poor CD's and that Metallica sold out. Reload especially, is fantastic, and this is the best song on the whole CD. This shows just how great Metallica is at playing ANY type of music they want.

This should be up there on the list of classic songs the band has made.

METALLICA = GREATNESS | Reviewer: LegendKiller | 9/14/08

This song is about feeling or i think redemption..Music is feeling, and the way Hetfield sings this song is solely based upon feeling. The deep and dark sensation one gets from this alters reality and sends one flying into anothers dispair. Live like we are equal, because we are.

i am almost 9 months clean and this is the first time i really listened to this song. I'm a grown man and I am crying. I played it several times. Fuck I love Metallica! Anyone out there who wants to hear this? You can do it too. Shit won't get better till you stop fighting. You can get help and never need to use again!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful | Reviewer: Ryan | 3/28/08

This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. It makes me cry everytime I listen to it. The lyrics are so true, and so well put. This is just one of many reasons why Metallica is who they are, versatile and brilliant. I don't care what anyone says, and how cliche' it might sound-- Metallica is the greatest band to ever exist.

Heart Breaking | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/21/08

This song reminds me a lot of this last Christmas. While shopping in a large, busy mall by family stipped for dinner at an Olga's. Outside we saw a dishevled, aimless man come in & sit down at a bench and just sit there. A while later guards approached him. He left the to approach a waiter asking for what I imagine was a fictutious person and left before she arrived.

I believe that this was a homeless man trying to find a place to recover in the middle of the brutal Michigan winter. To finish the effect, 106.1 played a song the following day with a prominent lyric, "(x) below zero on christas eve". My sister also came across a childrens song the same day where a cat freezes to death protecting a mouse from a blizard.

I can't find either song online but I'm crying right now just recalling them. Please post a link if you've coma across one.

Sick. | Reviewer: Alex | 1/27/08

Sick song. Perfect example of Metallica playing music away from its origanal genre. Amazing. I think this song relates to so many people you can't help but like it.

Of Low Mans Lyric | Reviewer: GrimReaper | 11/12/07

Without doubt a beautiful piece of music well directed. Great lyrics beautifully crafted instrumental with unheard sound effects that most rockers will not go for. All in all everything bout this song is top notch. Never thought a song bout a junkie would sound so good plus it has a really deep message.
