The Reviews about King Nothing (page 3/ 4)
------ performed by Metallica

kings of thrash metal | Reviewer: Josh | 11/13/08

King nothing is a masterpiece. And all you people out there that say otherwise can't handle the fact that metallica is still number one and kicking everyones ass! Just accept the truth fakes. Metallica is and always has been and will be #1!!! The meaning in king nothing is a message for us all... Heed it well.

Megadeth | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/4/08

Ths song is blatently a bitter snipe at Dave Mustaine (Original Metallica guitarist, formed Megadeth after being ousted from the band). Lars Ulrich obviously had something to do with the lyrics. Megadeth suck ass now, Mustaine's voice is too weak - early stuff, however; was much better. Still, Metallica destroy Megadeth at everything. How does it feel to live in their shadow, Dave?

EPIC | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/28/08

EPIc song made me buy load and then reload
didn't hear it till the video as i dont follow metallica that closely but i just never get tierd of it, and its great to drive/ sing along to, you can get really into it everyone knows tat person that either gets everything and loses it or that person who has nothing and just wished for it

Fake fans. | Reviewer: Audrey Roach | 7/19/08

I always disliked it when Metallica "fans" shook their head and called their new work shit. A true fan sticks by their band until they're done. Me? I'll stick by Metallica if they sang fucking Hannah Montana in frilly skirts. True, amazing, metal.

Is there nothing?! | Reviewer: Fernando Bastos Nina Ribeiro | 4/2/08

It's a fucking discussion, if there's nothing or not. As living beings we have life. A crown we may have till the death of our bodies. Real emptiness would be the true nothing but even so there's space. As living beings the most important thing we should cara would be the existence and it's manteinance but a crown could bring a good illusion that could bring good reigning feelings wich affect life anyway, self-esteem?!... Good illusion?!... Bye!!!...

Not like a moral.. but a very sweet, acid mockery | Reviewer: Mug3n | 2/11/08

I agree with Fenyx, also you can apply this to the real life.

This song reminds me the punishment you get when you try to do the things by stamping on other people, no matter its fellings. Not like a moral but a mockery, thats what I love of this song. Actually I'm dealing with a person who really thinks is the centre of the universe and all people around her do the things bad. Now its life it's getting really miserable, all the people who trusted and loved her is realizing her true behavior... and she's getting alone.

At last, you get what you deserve.

Metallica ownz!

King Nothing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/20/07

This song, a masterpiece by Metallica, is another hit, just like "Hero of the Day", "Enter Sandman", and "For whom the bell tolls". Like I said, just another mastterpiece by the #1 thrash metal band of all time. METALLICA RULES

King nothing....another step towards eternal greatness | Reviewer: TheMasterofPuppetz | 11/19/07

This is another song that you listen to and you wonder, "how can people actually dislike the newer metallica????" It is FUCKIN AWESOME!!!! It takes a shot at all of the materialistic bull shit in this world and then people have the nuts to say that Metallica sold out??? Are you kidding??? They never sold out and they never will. METALLICA RULEZ!!!!!!

MACBETH!!! | Reviewer: Chuck Norris *not really | 10/8/07

I think this song could also be a reference to Macbeth. If you've read Macbeth, it's obvious why.

there is a deeper meaning... | Reviewer: Fenyx | 9/12/07

This song isn't just about being a great cover song (even though it is that too) it is actually a song mocking the celebrities and small bands and things like that. Such as like wishing big and then blowing it all. "Then it all crashes down and you break your crown" is all about falling from the great hieghts that are provided by being appraised for a while. "and you point your finger but there's no 1 around" is all about how they blame anyone that they can but themselves. I mean im not saying this song is not one of the most rocking songs ever, im just saying that in most of metallica's songs there is almost always a deeper meaning...
