At first glance, I thought this song was written as an attack on fundamentalist christianity(where that "holier than thou" crowd flocks), but I believe it is broader than just that. Isn't there a line in the Bible somewhere that says just that'' "Judge naught lest ye be judged yourself?" PRetty sure it means that people judge too much--whether it be by appearanc eor whether or not certain individuals or groups are worthy of supposed "eternal rewards." General religious consensus says to leave that judgement to whatever God you call your own.
