Haven't heard this song for 8 years, came back to it now by coincidence, feeling tears in my eyes already... it is a part of my past, a perfect song, I used to listen to it when I really had a PRIMITIVE understanding of English, NOW IT MAKE A LOT OF SENSE to me... Metallica you really rock hard

"There of to find the hero of the day" This song for me pure emotion. Its a pwerful song. Its not all anger i think its about personal quest its about good vs evil and good trying to defy evil and overcome it. This hs song inspired me to re-kindle a relationship with a girl that I was with 10 years ago and have never stopped loving despite lifes many challenges and at 30 we both found ourselves single again and remarkably still into each other. Hopefully its meant to be. Metallica you rock hard.

I'm a soldier from the Republic of the Philippines. We listen to this song everytime we go to battle inside our APC's.I love the line that says: They're off to find the hero of the day
But what if they should fall by someone's wicked way

st. ang is a great album and unless you've seen the documentary "Some Kind Of Monster" then don't say anything about it..... they made like 30 songs for that album and yes they don't have solos in and they sound different, but they were expressing their feelings at how they felt at that time. which of course was anger......

this album is good, and this is one of my favorite songs from metallica. but they were never the same when cliff burton died. but that didn't stop them from making awsome songs. i think that metallica didn't even try on st. anger. i think that's when metallica's popularity fell. but they made a good come back with death magnetic.
