seriously? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/27/09
Dude timy, are you loking up these lyrics because you want to bash metallica? Wtf bro, just leave it alone if u dont like it. and i deffinitely dont feel high when i listen to music, nor do i feel depressed afterwards. maybe you have some sort of problem? And grocery stores want my money too, but i dont think they care if i die either.

This is a great song. Timy I agree with you. If i commited suicide i don't think Metallica would care because they don't even know me. And you are right by saying they want our money, but dude they fucking deserve it. They are a great metal band, one of the greatest if you ask me. Besides they are doing there type of work. For example do you go to work because you like and care about it or do you do it so you can make money and live. I know why I go. To make the money
hope in a dark world | Reviewer: timy | 10/19/09
You know what is interesting music is a language. In a horror movie they use a certain type of music to scare you, in a comody they us a certain type to make you laugh, in a war movie they use a sound of war, and at a funural they play something sad to make you cry. The music with this song here along with other rock and metal tell you to rebell and commit suicide and that no one loves you. The words don't even have to say it the music also speaks. It gives you a high while you listen to it but then leaves you depressed afterward just like a drug. For all you who think Metalica rules here is a question; if you lost a friend would Metalica comfort you; if you went to prison would they bail you out; if you were dying of cancer would they come visit you; if you committed suicide would they care--No! they could care less they just want your money. But its not even a battle with Metalica, its a battle with demon spirits who are inspiring Metalica; they are just puppets, That is probably why they have the song called, "Master of Puppets." For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 ....wherefore put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles (tricks) of the devil.

It's your opnion but... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/12/09
Dear Timy
Just because you listened to this song don't mean you thoughts of suiside. I an't gona lie I have had thoughts like that too long before I listened to Metallica. I think it was the other way around for me, I started listening to Metallica and I haven't really thought like that in a long time.
I guess what I'm saying is that music means different things to different people and that you shouldn't press your opnion on other people.

saved by grace | Reviewer: timy | 10/8/09
I used to like this song. No wander I had thoughts of suicide. Metalica are instruments of satan. Satan wants you to commit suicide so he can take you straight to hell. But you don't have to listen you can turn to Jesus and start reaping the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace) instead of the works of the flesh,(envy, hate, strife). If the Lord can change and sinner like me He can you too.
truly amazing | Reviewer: russ | 8/14/09
this song is true to just about anyone who listens to it cuz it has a different meaning to each and every person who hears it. the riffs, acoustic and heavy are in perfect harmony making such a beautiful song, fade to black
True Meanings | Reviewer: Jared | 7/11/09
True meanings of lyrics to a song or the song in its entirity can be viewed in as many different ways as there are grains of sand on Earth. There will NEVER be one true meaning interpreted by the entire collection of listeners to one song EVER. Its like asking someone to give the correct interpretation of a novel. It can't be done. You may show your case of WHY you think of it the way you do, but there will always be other opinions. This song references suicide, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that its about suicide. It may be about suicide on its outer cover, but to me, there is a MUCH deeper meaning and interpretation when you dig deeper than what you see on the surface.
Very sad lyrics | Reviewer: Kurt | 6/2/09
This was one of the best Metallica songs i've heard. Absolutely awesome guitar. Bass and drums also contributing quite well. The lyrics are not about suicide. Although they are very sad, it is about stolen gear. Brilliantly made song.
