They took the theme and the guitar intro off of our demo but they changed the lyrics and rhythm
to avoid copywrite infringement.
Honestly, I am flattered that they liked it enough to use it however, I am saddened by the fact that we could be the ones making millions off of it.Sadly,the lead guitar player became a monk in L.A and the rhythm guitar player is a tranvestite in the pheonix AZ area.
I am not lying and I would not hesitate to confront Lars and James about it. One day I will.

I think the guy at the top kidna made this shit up that he sent this entersandman off to metallica and they so called "stole it"

My friend and I wrote this song back in 1987.
We recorded a demo in west hollywood ( we had a metal band) and my buddy foolishly sent the demo to metallica at a san fransisco address. They tweaked the melody and lyrics just enough to get around copyright infringment. We thought that they would invite us to open up for them at some of their shows but we never heard from them.
He also sent them a book that I had found that contained the numbers of famous musicians and movie stars. I cant believe I allowed him to do that! I still kick myself to this day. Anyway, That is protocol for metallica, they are known to steal ideas, names ect. Lars gets pretty upset with napster because it gave him a taste of his own medicine.

I actually REALY like it...i only heard it like a month ago on Kerrang! It was the first one of their songs i had ever heard but then i ended searching the whole house to see if my dad had a Metallica CD.

After much searching through shit loads of CDs
I FOUND THE ONE WITH IT ON!!!!!
