Praise God | Reviewer: deb | 7/9/07
Times when I start to go down a lonesome road, I've thought of this song and listen to it. It's so true. If I have a chance to grow closer to God, Jesus please bring the rain. Amen. Thank you Mercy Me.
God is good all the time. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/6/07
November 25, 2006, my husband was diagnosed in the emergency room with renal cell carcinoma. On December 14th he had surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible. He survived an extremely invasive surgery, and finally returned home two days before Christmas. He was admitted back into the hospital on January 5, 2007, his cancer had spread to some of his remaining healthy organs. January 12, 2007, my husband lost his fight with cancer. In a matter of 49 days our lives were completely altered. Suddenly, I am without a husband and my two children must go on without their father. We have been struggling with our loss, but never have I doubted God. There are things that I don’t understand, but I know that God is in control. I know where my husband is right now and I will be with him again someday. This song has ministered to my heart and soul. I know that God is much greater than the pain. God is my strength and my comfort. God is good all the time.

I love this song. Everytime I hear it, I feel so overwhelmed. God is good! This is a song you want to hear when you are going through the ups and the downs.
Simply Beautiful | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/28/07
Being 19 years old, I've gone through some hard rain in my life. A mother's abandonment due to drugs, a best friend's death. A myth that I've heard often is that as a Christian, God's supposed to make everything okay in life. Say the prayer, get baptized, and poof! it's easy sailing from there... hahaha... WRONG! God never promised an easy life. BUT He DID promise to always be there, for EVERYTHING. I've realized that I need to be grateful for the storms in life, as well as the sunny days. They're all used for the glory of God. I've learned to thank God for the blessings as well as the trials. He really is a great God.
I'm passing these song lyrics onto a friend who is having a tough time right now. Thank you for this site so we can testify to God's greatness!
Bring me joy, bring me peace...
Raining in Columbus | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/20/07
I have liked this song from the first time I heard it. Honestly, it's easy to say "bring me ANYTHING that brings you glory" when life is going great. This week I found out that I am miscarring our second child. It is definately raining here. My only hope is that through this, somehow God will be glorified and lifed high.
Blessed faith put to music | Reviewer: Joanne | 6/14/07
I heard this song for the first time this morning on the radio. I could not believe that there was a song that so touched my heart and this place in time. We recently had to shut down a plant that employed 80 people in our small town. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do - I was the president of the company. I have turned to my faith over these last very hard months, and this song just says it all. God has given me SO MANY blessings in my life, this relatively small thing has reasssured me that He never forgets us and is always in our lives if we invite Him in. Praise be.
Song relates in my life | Reviewer: Alex Park | 6/12/07
This song is beautiful. I recently had times where nothing went right. Friends were against me and I felt I lost touch with GOD. This lasted for about 2 weeks and after I heard this song on the Fish, I felt this was a sign of things will get better. God helped me get through his pain and now things are getting better. But for everyone who is in pain or greiving, pray and keep doing everything for God's will and later God will help you.
Powerful!! | Reviewer: D. | 6/7/07
I heard this song on the way to work this morning. Had to look it up as soon as i could. My testimony is very much like the others listed here. My marriage is a daily struggle that tears my heart to pieces because i do love my husband so very much and i pray that he could see my heart and know just how much i cherish the gift of him and how much i want to see us be used to bring God great glory. i know that this marriage is God's will for us but the enemy is fighting back so hard that much of the time it seems that we will not make it through and we both want to give up. Life can be so very tough, but remembering that we have an Awesome and Mighty God who is in control of our circumstances and won't let them be more than we can handle is what we need to remember. It is so easy to say and feel that we would go through anything to be closer to God, to do His will and to bring Him Glory but when He allows the pain and trouble to come, those thoughts are not as near as the desire for relief. It is my greatest desire to be as close to God as possible and this song reminds me that the times that hurt so much are the times i need to grab tightly to His hand and let him lead me through the rain in my life. Thank You Lord for your unfailing Love and Faithfulness and thank you Mercy Me for allowing yourselves to be used to touch the lives of others with this important Truth.
Bring the Rain | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/2/07
I listen to Christian radio all the time but don't remember this song. My family has been going through a storm for 10 years and God has been saying that it is almost over. While getting some upsetting news this morning, I decided to turn on the radio while cleaning house. What song should be playing...."Bring the Rain"! What a blessing!!! I had to stop what I was doing and lift my hands to the Lord and pray, bring the rain! Let my life always reflect the power or God!

I have listened to this song over and over since i first heard it.My friends aunt brought this song to me, because she had went out to buy it after she had attented a funeral. One of her friends son died as an infant and they sang this song at his funeral.Everyone broke down crying when the mother of the child stood up and praised her lord almighty.Although she was sad, depressed, angry, and all these other emotions she realized that it doesnt matter all that matters is that one day we will all be with god && she will eternally be blessed.Thank you so much for this song MercyMe!!!This song has amazingly touched my heart.Being in Junior High you can imagine all the drama i face everyday.this song helps me get through my day and my life:}]♥
Lung transplant | Reviewer: Sheryl | 5/19/07
My Dad had a double lung transplant on April 23, 2007. My family has certainly experienced GOD through all of this. Daddy just came home after 24 days in the hospital. GOD is big & mighty & HE still does miracles! When I heard this song yesterday, I can say that yes, we have had the rain, but oh the closeness that we feel to GOD is unexplainable! Jesus bring the rain! We glorify GOD because of all that we have been through. Just Praise HIM!
in my times of trouble | Reviewer: Dione | 5/6/07
2 Years ago i went through what i thought was the worse pain i could have felt in my life time . there were other songs that ministered to me at
that time . but even 2 yrs down the bumpy , twisting road , there hasn't
been a song that has touched my heart like this one ! it gives you hope , that even in those times of utter despair when you think you cant possibly lift your arms or eyes towards heaven , it is THEN at that percise moment that God reaches down through the rain and calms the wind and storm and gives you the glimpse of SON , and that is when we give Him glory . when we persist , trudge on and come out the other side victorious and .....GIVING HIM PRAISE !!!!
Bring the Rian | Reviewer: Stephanie | 5/2/07
I heard this song today for the first time. It came on as I was parking my car and heading into the drug store. I was immediately taken by the words and even though I was in a rush, I had to sit and listen to every last Holy, Holy, Holy as I praised God for the rain that's passed through my life and for how good and faithful God in never leaving or forsaking us. He alone is worthy of our praise. Praise for who He is and there's not another like Him. Thank you Mercy Me for being a willing vessel and servant to our Lord! May God continue to use abd bless your ministry!
Speaks to the Soul | Reviewer: Diana | 4/27/07
I heard this song at the MercyMe concert here in Florida. From the very moment I heard it, I could relate. I feel the exact way, if beign in a difficult situation is what it takes for me to fuly praise Christ, then i will endure. Jesus really is working through this group, and I know He will continue to.
