Turing to God | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/15/07

I'm going through a lot of things with my girlfriend now and it's hard to stay positive, but songs like these help raise my spirts and know that no matter what happens God will always be by my side.

I've heard people tell me that turn to drinking and drugs, but it's God who I've turned to during hard times.

I looked over these lyrics and they just are so heart warming but most of all the meaning this song has in it it is basically about Jesus and you wanting him to bring joy, peace, and pain if that's what it takes.I sing this song alot in my church because it is one of my sister's favorite's except for amazing grace but this song brings me joy to my heart and thank you for sharing it with us. Love Brittany

A broken heart for God's glory... | Reviewer: Kerry | 10/3/07

I first heard this song right after giving up a boyfriend because of extremem religious differences. It was hard and I cried a lot. But God touched my heart when I heard the lyrics of this song and reminded me of his promise in Romans 8:28. My tears will not fall vain, even when they are falling like the rain (in Seattle).

Help through troubled times | Reviewer: Will | 9/30/07

Going through a terrible struggle with anorexia and bulimia, I heard this song and it instantly started turning my life around. The words are soo touching and true. It seemed as though the words were speaking directly to me. Thanks MercyMe!!

Bring the Rain | Reviewer: Caroline | 10/1/07

I heard this beautiful song as I drove and pondered the reality that God does not waste our pain. In the end it is all useful. I have a lot of education and some unique experiences which I use to comfort people but I found that my education and experiences is not a fraction as effective at comforting others as the hardships I have been through. At those times I can stand with someone and give them courage in the depths of their pain, all of my own is worth it. God uses it all to bring about beautiful things. Praise Him!

Jesus brings us through every storm in our life, always. | Reviewer: randz | 9/26/07

the song had a lot of meaning, i heard it once and it touched me, Jesus is always there for us even through the eye of the storm. we can't avoid all the storms in our life, but Jesus brings us through. Amen. i;ve known Jesus since i was a kid but it's only recently that i've learned to walk with him and developed my relationship with him and i'm enjoying every day of my life with my new found relationship with the Lord.

I first heard this song on the radio and was really touched by it. I've always been so afraid of the hard times but God has been showing me that through the hard times, He is there and that hard times are sometimes needed. Praise God for the one who wrote the lyrics.

Worshipping Thru The Rain | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/18/07

I heard this song for the first on Sunday after my Pastor gave a message on "Worshipping When I Am Wounded". His wife sang "Bring The Rain" at closing and it really ministered to me. My family has gone through very difficult times and I've often thought, "how am I going to make it through this storm." But God is a good God and because I have chosen to worship Him, though not easy at times, he has carried my family and I through the storm/rain.

Jesus bring the rain! | Reviewer: H | 9/16/07

God is definitely working through this band. I can relate to this song in every way possible.

I've been asked many a time about how i can possibly stand firm in such a troubling time, but just as this song says...
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You

this is a song beautiful beyond words. I actually have not encountered a song my MercyMe that I did not relate to... God bless you!

Thank You | Reviewer: Sharon | 9/14/07

Hello im 13 years old and i've been through alot in my life. Like my dad having Cancer and getting well but always in pain to where he can't worl as well as he used to and alot of other things but God is walking me through them :), well i was in my kitchen when i heard this song and it brought me to tears because that is exactly what i should be doing. Praising Him even when the storm is here. My favorite part of this song is

"And I know there'll
be days When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to
praise You Jesus, bring the rain"

I want to praise Him even if my worldly life isn't exactly perfect but He gave it to me, there must be a reason. He gives me moments of peace everyday and He protects me everyday. "I would rather walk with God in the dark, then walk alone in the light."

And God gave me this life, and i have to say as long as God is in it, it's not half bad :)

My dad's anthem | Reviewer: Nikki | 9/11/07

My dad has been stricken with Multiple Sclerosis since 1969 and he is very active in our church and he often in his spiritual and "regular" life gets asked why he praises a GOD who would "do this to him". He says I wouldn’t' have it any other way because I know some day I will be walking on these legs and seeing with these eyes perfectly. I believe his illness has actually helped him and those he has witnessed to.

It is so important | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/11/07
