This song is about one of the members of At The Drive-In who drove a close friend of Omar's and Cedric's to suicide. Concertina, Cut That City, and Eunuch Provacatuer (sp) are about this. Awesome song by my favorite band in the world.

The mars volta is simply the most expressive, heartfelt, talented, and bad ass band in the world. Their songs are epic masterpeices torn straight from the souls of the two greatest musicians alive. That said metatron kinda sucks =P

Es uno de los mejores logros de Omar y Cedric. Muy buena rola, gran debut o carta de presentación de Mars, además de que Cedric incorpora letras en español (mal hablado, pero suena padre). Me encanta la variedad de ritmo, y el solo de guitarra es muy bueno.

Concertina is the first Mars Volta song I've heard after being a big fan of Omar Rodriguez's guitar work from At The Drive-In. Cedric Bixler and Omar have gone through quite a transition, and I must say that I love it. This song incorporates multiple genres of music into 5 minutes of ecstasy.

This song kicks ass. No joke. Now, it's by no means thier best. I think Cedric & Omar were still figuring out what The Mars Volta needed to become. Deloused will always be thier best work.
