This has distorted the minds of nearly everyone, furthermore, creating a utopia-like society. Marilyn Manson is one of the few who have managed to overcome this, and I believe that we should admire him for this. I've read his autobiography eight times, and it has surpassed all others--I'm well-read; Manson's works greatly outdo the plethora of other accomplished writers. I've few complaints of his manuscripts; I do, however, wish that he had pursued writing as equivilantly as he did musicianship. Our universe is plummeting toward an existance such as that evident in The Giver, by Lois Lowry, for those who've read the manuscript. We are desperately and pathetically in need of an escape. As Manson has pointed out to us, found on one of the last pages of his book, "There is an exit here."
