GRANDDAUGHTER - JASMINE SOLO 12/24/12 | Reviewer: TINA LOWDEN | 12/12/12
My granddaughter will sing this song as a solo this year @ the Childrens Christmas Mass. She is 11 years old. I am so proud of her ... I can't help but soar into the heavens when I hear Jasmine sing. God is good - all the time!

FInally the right words to the right song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/8/09
You know depending upon whom a singer stands beside, so, to, do words to music change. I have heard some of everything before the word "Mild", e.g,: "so tender, meek and mild" or so "holy, meek and mild". I have heard: "he was born in a stable: yes, My God is able". Mariah, we could collaborate on a book called "Musical Mis-speak". Thanks for letting me print for the people who are belting it out on Sunday morning. This is a good kind educational gesture from someone I watch and learn from other than musically. dyvonne fan'o'yours @912-691-

Sometimes artists that re-make songs change it up a bit to suit their style. The fact that Mariah may have changed "so tender meek and mild" to "so lowly meek and mild" is just semantics, because it means about the same. And "new life, new hope, new joy He brings won't you listen to the angels sing" vs. "what life and hope to all he brings, listen to the angles sing" is also to me a miniscule difference. The last part is the same....she still uplifts the love of God and the wonderful meaning of Christmas....stop hating!

Something "magic" seems to happen when this song is shared with others. The continual praise Jesus definately raises spirits of all and brings large joyous smiles to all the faces. I can't really explain it, but just give it a try, you will absolutely love it! God bless you everyone.
"Glory, Glory,Glory To The New Born King" words and music by H. Carney | Reviewer: Mrs. Oraetta V. Henderson | 12/18/07
Jesus, Jesus, oh what a wonderful child, Jesus, Jesus so tender meek and mild, what life and hope to all he brings, listen to the angles sing, Glory, Glory, Glory to the new born king.
He was herald by the angles, born in lowly manger;God chose virgin Mary as his mother and Joseph as his earthly father, three wise-men
trav'ling from afar, they were guided by that shining star,To see King Jesus where he lay in a mang-er full of hay.
where Mariah got that tail end from I have no idea!!! I have the original sheet music.

Chorus | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/4/05
I'm a junior attending Sulphur High School in Sulphur, LA.
We have been practicing this song for about 2 1/2 weeks. I sing Soprano One and our chorus teacher put me on the solo. I have to say it is my favorite christmas song and I love the way Mariah Carey sings this song.
I thought it was wonderful. It has truly been an inspiration to me and those who sing in Accapella Choir. Thank you
